William checks in on Aster and Ciencia while they are under the weather. Since Garvin is dealing with Aster, William will give Ciencia his take on the experience both good and bad. He will bring up a book on the reader from old Terra. It is Alice in Wonderland. "Something to read during the worst of it when you can't focus on serious stuff but need a distraction. Given what is happening to us the irreverence in the book is kind of balancing. We are going to look some more at the residence but we promise not to hog all of the excitement ourselves. I can't think of a better person both politically, intellectually and personally to be involved in this expedition. We need your power and smarts just as much as we need your imagination and exuberance. I'm glad you are here. Just take care of yourself and ride it out and we can tilt all of those windmills."

Silencer will go seek out Growler. "I'm coming with to the residence if you don't mind. What do you recommend as a loadout?"

She is grateful to hear all your stories and is attentive to what you say. Even with the exuberance earlier, she does seem a bit uncertain now. Perhaps a bit vulnerable, too.

Okay, we have Walt, Metz, Bilis, William, Garvin, and Arkar going back to Tech World.

We have Roscoe and Jaelah on Farm World.

We have Aster, Ciencia, Fredrick, Terresa, and Spicoli (and Roscoe and Bilis in their electronic forms) staying on the Lost & Found.

The Farm World thread is already in motion and look for the Tech World thread momentarily. Unless Spiloci pops in and does something, we'll assume the ship folks have it quiet.

”Hmm…what makes ya think I can’t get girls? Had plenty of relationships. They just all went sour too quickly on account of trying to hide those damn uncontrolled psionic manifestations. Then, as a cop, well that explains that. Why d’ya think I became a bounty hunter…to finally have a real life and find a real relationship. The thought of bagging her is enticing. But I’m really looking for a lasting relationship for a change. Had enough of the casual BS.

Jaelah smiles gently. "I meant, looking ahead at the lives set before us. We have centuries to live. Certainly, we will work for the Imperial Crown, as they are our defense, our bulwark against those who would take all of this from us. We are probably the most powerful individual sophonts in the explored galaxy. Given all of that, the lands that we hold, and the things, such as the ship, we own or control, what do you see as your place in all of this?"

Garvin responds "Never said you couldn't get girls. I was just ready to share on the wrong sort to get. Blimey, I've done that! One was a job - didn't make it any better. As long as you're good then so am I". He pauses then adds with a smile "An' no tellin' anyone we talk about relationships - that could utterly destroy the "bad boy" image".
