Akhilleus

The warrior won't hesitate, he will try to cleave his sword in the first slave's face that comes through that door.

Given there was something making his companions sleepy, he holds his breath when he lunges forward, and catches his breath once he's back in his original position.

Broad sword (one-handed) - To hit: [1d20+2]=2+2=4; Dmg: [1d8+3]=1+3=4

Akhilleus leaps forward, trying to strike at the first person in the doorway to protect himself and his friends. He takes a couple of whacks, but has difficulty fighting through the narrow opening. He finds breathing without inhaling at least some of the gas totally impossible, but for some reason, he doesn't feel any effect whatsoever from the misty threat.

The pair of captive slaves combine to throw their shoulders against the door, finally pushing it in far enough to enter the room. There is a short pause before the pair charge inside, likely allowing the mist to settle a bit longer. Human voices followed by indecipherable grunting come from the hallway just before the square headed duo bursts inside the room to melee with the lone fighter.

Akhilleus knows that neither he nor his companions will be given any quarter, so he has nothing else in mind but their survival.

Letting out a fierce cry, he rushes to the door and begins to wield his sword with the intention of killing as many slaves as possible.

Broad sword (two-handed) - To hit: [1d20+2]=16+2=18; Dmg: [1d10+3]=9+3=12

Broad sword (two-handed) - To hit: [1d20+2]=9+2=11; Dmg: [1d10+3]=9+3=12

He tries to discern how many of them there are.

His opponents get the jump on him, battering the fighter with one good club blow 3 dam before Akhilleus runs his sword completely through the first invader. As he puts a foot on the dead man to retrieve his sword, still defending himself against the second, he peers out into the dark hallway to see how many adversaries he will face all alone.

It is there, out in that hallway, where he spots the pair of confused looking priests he saw in the kitchen earlier. They watch the battle with their heads cocked to the side with great interest. When the first slave goes down, both of these orange robed figures begin casting spells.

With his friends lives at stake, Aklhilleus does not falter, slaying the second slave nearly as quickly as he eliminated the first. The priests in the hallway seem agitated by the fighters speed and sheer determination, finishing their spells as he rushes towards them next. Can I get a Sorcery Save, please? (you can act again if it's successful)

One of the priests looks like he will bolt after his spell is cast, but the other seems to be standing strong in the face of this brutal invader and his sleepy companions.

The Escape?, Night

Just as Akhilleus is about to strike dead one of the priests in the hallway, two things happen.

First, a few snakes suddenly appear on the stone floor inside the room. Second, the fighter hears the word "Flee" coming from one of the strange looking priests, causing him to take off in the opposite direction, rushing his way out into the dark open courtyard and almost out of the ruins altogether before he snaps out of his mindless funk.

Once he comes to his senses again, the once frightened fighter hears a heavy door slam in the distance, from the direction he just vacated.

"Damit! They left me out of here. All the others are still in there..." He goes back and tries to force the door open with all his strength.

Hard Skill Check [4d6]=14 vs 17 STR

I've got a question: the ioun stone that grants+1 CON would therefore grant an extra hp, right? Just in case

Akhilleus rushes back into the ruins and shoves his shoulder into the unlocked door, pushing it in far enough to enter himself.

Once inside the room with his friends again, the fighter sees one of the priests has just cut the throat of the unconscious and defenseless Snorri, the huge Vikings blood forming a large pool on the floor where he lay dead.

The second orange robed priest appears about to do the same to Valkrina, though he seems to be enjoying the task far more then the other, taking his time with the female invader, making small cuts all over her body instead of officially completing the deed. 6 dam In her heavily sleeping state, the bleeding woman doesn't even seem to notice the atrocity.

The torturous priest suddenly holds his shiny blade to the woman's throat when he sees Akhilleus enter, almost teasing the man with what he might do next. The other priest reaches into his robe with a look of fear and confusion upon his hooded face.

Akhilleus enters the room and his eyes open wide in surprise. His gesture shows his utter disgust. "Your crimes end here, you cannibalistic lunatics." He shouts, enraged. He attacks the one butchering Valkrina's body first.

Broad sword (one-handed) - To hit: [1d20+2]=3+2=5; Dmg: [1d8+3]=4+3=7

Broad sword (one-handed) - To hit: [1d20+2]=19+2=21; Dmg: [1d8+3]=2+3=5

Broad sword (one-handed) - To hit: [1d20+2]=1+2=3; Dmg: [1d8+3]=5+3=8

Made three attacks assuming they're level 1 and also because the last combat round I made two attacks, but I leave to you, of course, if two or three should count here (which doesn't make much of a difference anyway).

Edit: small corrections.

The priest with the blade to Valkrina's neck is startled after being jumped by the fighter, causing his knife to miss the woman's jugular. Though the wound it causes is considerable, it doesn't kill the bard. 9 dam Bleeding out now, her condition will need to be dealt with soon.

After taking a wound himself, the hooded figure retreats away from the body, headed towards the doorway. Akhilleus gets a strange quick glimpse at the figure when it bolts, seeing a different view of the man which quickly fades back into his human visage again.

After seeing the priests real visage as a snake creature, a view Akhilleus wishes he could forget, the ray from the wand penetrates the fighters defenses.

Though he can still hear, feel, and smell, his sense of vision is suddenly absent, as if he were completely blinded. The wand toting "priest" hisses with glee, but what he is about to do next remains a mystery.

Akhilleus

The warrior is now blinded, but he hasn't forgot where the damned priest was right before he blinded him. He swings his sword like a mad man.

Broad sword (one-handed) - To hit: [1d20+2]=8+2=10; Dmg: [1d8+3]=7+3=10

Broad sword (one-handed) - To hit: [1d20+2]=4+2=6; Dmg: [1d8+3]=6+3=9

But to no avail.

He tries to get to the door in order to block it. He doesn't want any of these cruel men getting out of the room carrying any of his companions.

Edit: text clarification.
