Ceana

"If we can keep them off us," Ceana says, sheathing her falcata and fitting an arrow to her bow.
She fires at the closest creature emerging from its crypt along the north wall.
Bow: [1d20]=16 [1d6]=6

OOC: Don't know if she can do all of that in one round; if not, she will sheathe her sword and get her bow ready to fire next round.

Taibhse

Seeing Ceana start to switch to bow yells out "arrows don't harm them stick with melee weapons".

Belloc
there's more! stay together!

takes the reminder Greek fire flasks (had 3 now 2) and tries to create a fire barrier, between the new undead and his companions
makes sure to throw the flasks on a hard surface do they break on impact

it wont stop them!

OOC:im not sure if the floor is stone or sand, also not sure if he can just throw the 2 flasks or one at a time, he's trying to cover the most possible area not targeting a specific undead

Kainaxarthos

"Now we're talking. Hold my mace." Kain tosses his Morningstar to Tuurma. "Hey. Try this one."

He reaches into his chest and pulls out a necklace with a slightly charred symbol of a single eye. Kain steps to the side, giving clear sight to the zombies, and declares forcefully "Stand down creatures! The Serpent sees all! Cut your bonds to your masters and hear me! Do as I command!"

Turn Undead: [1d12]=10

Tuurma catches the morningstar mid air and is about to crash into the undead once more ("just when I thought I was out..." etcetera) but seeing Kain's display of divine authority, she pauses and looks at what is about to happen, astonished and reluctant at the same time.

If some zombie simply walks through the fire to attack, which seems likely if Kain does not manage to turn them all, Tuurma will attack it as soon as it steps into range.

Morning star attack (weakened): [1d20]=8 dmg [1d8]=5

...without great success.

Cormag strides forward to meet the newest creature attacking his party, maybe his friends at this point, with a big smile on his face.

Broad sword hit [1d20+2]=8+2=10 damage [1d8+3]=3+3=6 9 if it hit
Broad sword hit [1d20+2]=17+2=19 damage [1d8+3]=7+3=10 15 points

The Lost Mausoleum
Finishing The Job, Next Morning

Ceana stows her blade and fires an arrow into a distant target, watching as it penetrates directly through the moldering figure.

Taibhse shouts out that arrows do little to harm them, but doesn't attack himself, allowing the wounded zombie closest to the party to rake him across one arm. 3 dam

Cormag steps up to eliminate another uninjured zombie accosting the group with one fell swing of his enlarged blade and body.

Belloc tosses his remaining pair of dangerous missile flasks that burst one at a time on the stone floor of the crypt, creating a line of sickly green fire between the group and the oncoming zombies. Only one of the monsters gets through between the tosses unscathed, while a second walks directly into the inferno, its rotting skin blistering and frying in a horrifying display that does nothing to stop its advance.

Kainaxarthos seems almost glad to see this deadly turn of events, stepping forward and holding his holy symbol up to the oncoming threat, commanding it to do his will. Despite his best efforts to control it, the thing tries in vain to bite into the clerics shoulder. Tuurma is there to help eliminate the monster as well, but her swing goes wide.

Ceana

Tossing her bow aside, the druid draws her falcata with a flourish and hacks at the undead directly in front of her!

I have to ask.....

What am I doing wrong here that is making these updates so confusing?

Are they too long to read carefully?

Are my maps causing the problems?

Is there something I should be doing differently that will make things more clear?

the maps are a good reference, if anything a number or something to distinguish the individual monsters would help when we describe our actions and movements i.e. X1, X2 etc

Kainaxarthos

Kain winces as the zombie leans in to bite him, pushing it off and trying to distance himself. "Stupid thing, why won't you work?!" He shakes his acid-damaged holy symbol in frustration.

Kain will try to disengage if he can do so without being attacked, otherwise he will draw his dagger and strike the non-compliant zombie.

[1d20]=16 Dagger: [1d4]=3

No need for you to change on my behalf. I don't know how I missed it, but I did. I saw it when I went back to check, but initially I didn't see it.

Looks like I will NPC her this round.

The Lost Mausoleum
Finishing The Job, Next Morning

With no enemy directly in front of her, Ceana moves up to aid Cormag, where she and Taibhse destroy the final zombie still in its coffin.

Kain lets Tuurma get closer, keeping his distance from the oncoming threats. The Berserker hacks away wildly again, unable to damage the growing frontline of undead. She takes another scratch from one of the monsters filthy claws for her effort. 2 dam and Save vs. Transformation (+Wis bonus) :?

Although Belloc has trouble targeting the moving zombies with his sling, he was right about one thing. The green, sickly fire he created doesn't stop the threats from advancing. They walk directly through the fire without slowing, taking obvious burn damage, but continue towards the group despite their wounds.

The huge form of Cormag draws an attack that rips flesh from his oversized body 4 dam, doing little to slow his efforts to put these monsters down for good.

With 5 of these creatures now forming a line of attack, some of them still on fire, Belloc is relieved to see that no more of the sarcophagus lids seem to be moving to the side to reveal any more horrors.

Actions!

Can I get a [4d6] roll vs. Wisdom from Belloc along with his action, please?

Kainaxarthos AC:6 3/8 1st:2/2
Tuurma AC:7 5/13 (-4 STR)
Ceana AC:5 8/8 1st:3/3
Taibhse AC:7 2/7 1st:1/2 MM
Cormag AC:4 7/11 ENLARGED:56
Belloc AC:6 9/9 2/3 Crestos: (Owl) AC:7 4/4
Maxon AC:6 -10/9 1st:1/2 Dead

My bad, Rob. I misread the map.

Ceana steps around the huge form of Cormag and attacks X4.
Falcata: [1d20+1]=4+1=5 [1d6+1]=5+1=6

loads his sling again and swings another stone at the undead horde (x5)
having a higher vantage point he tries to encourage his team

this is it! These are all the undead there are!
