Yes indeed. :) See here: post

The others see the goblins abruptly change course and jump Souta, who collapses to the ground under their blades.

(Round 3, Phase 9)
Seing the bakemono-sho breaking and fleeing before the monk and his dog, heading for the collapsed Souta, Toshizo draws a willow leaf arrow from his quiver and loosed it at a warty bake near Eiji Souta. The arrow sails overhead, lost in the night.

(Round 3, Phase 6)
Eiji acts at the top of the phase, able to strike before they move. The two bakemono-sho nearest him then move 4 hexes at the bottom of the phase. Then Ha acts on Phase 5.

Toshizo's phase is after the bake-sho at the grave run and after Souta goes down. I'd like to revise to have his kyujutsu shot go to one of the bake on Souta, instead of one at the grave. It still misses, but maybe it will draw their attention.

Remember you're free to do your own rolls; I'll help by rolling if you don't. :)

Turn Order:
Phase 16: Jīva (Basic Action)
Phase 12: Bakemono-sho (Basic Action)
Phase 10: Souta (Basic Action)
Phase 9: Toshizo (Basic Action)
Phase 6: Eiji (Basic Action); Souta (Secondary Action)
Phase 5: Ha (Basic Action)
Phase 4: Toshizo (Secondary Action)
Phase 3: Souta (Secondary Action)
Phase 2: Taka (Basic Action)
(Round 3, Phase 6)
In pursuit of the bakemono-sho, Eiji swings his spade before they can escape his reach. The loose grave soil is slippery, however, and the spade flies from his hands as he loses balance, landing behind him to the right and teetering at the edge of the grave hole. The bake sprint away in the direction of Souta.
Eiji bojitsu [1d20]=20 [1d6]=2
Eiji critical fumble [1d20]=17
16-17 Attacker treated as receiving a successful Disarm attack of the Remove weapon form
If the attacker is attempting to Remove the weapon and his BCS roll is successful, the target must make a Strength Saving Throw or his weapon will be thrown 1D3 yards away.

Eiji Strength Save (BCS 4) [1d20]=17
Direction [1d6]=4 distance [1d3]=2
Token added to map to track the spade.

The "Combat Action" move allows you 1 yard of movement with it (to move or change facing). Specify how you want to use it.

The Bake, with the second half of their "Turn and Flee" action, move 4 yards.
(Round 3, Phase 5)
Souta collapses under the wakizashi of the bake in the dim light beyond the fire. Ha pulls back his dai-kyu and releases a shot at her malefactors. The togari arrow leaps from the bow, flying straight and true, and punches straight through the head of the center bakemono-sho standing over her (#2). The others startle at the abruptness, murderous desire momentarily replaced by fear.
Ha Kyujitsu [1d20]=2 damage [5d5+3]=18+3=21
Firing Dai-Kyu (BCS 13) at point blank range (+2) with an armor-piercing arrow (+1) against Armor Class 3 (-3) when the target is attacking Souta [i.e. not moving/running/passive] (+0) = BCS 13. You rolled a 2! That's 21 damage.
Secondary action for Toshizo (if he wants to change weapons). Action for Taka?

Taka, not deterred by her earlier attempt and the yawning blackness of the cave opening, attempts to send her mind from the utsushiyo to the kakuriyo once more.

Astral Senses (BCS 12)[1d20]=14

Toshizo doesn't have a secondary action for this turn. He'll keep holding his dai-kyu. The bakemono go before Toshizo, so I suppose I should wait before posting his next turn's action.

Turn Order:
Phase 16: Jīva (Basic Action)
Phase 12: Bakemono-sho (Basic Action)
Phase 10: Souta (Basic Action)
Phase 9: Toshizo (Basic Action)
Phase 6: Eiji (Basic Action); Souta (Secondary Action)
Phase 5: Ha (Basic Action)
Phase 4: Toshizo (Secondary Action)
Phase 3: Souta (Secondary Action)
Phase 2: Taka (Basic Action)
Taka, not deterred by her earlier attempt and the yawning blackness of the cave opening, attempts to send her mind from the utsushiyo to the kakuriyo once more. The darkness is greedy, desirous... it pulls at her, sucking against the bonds of her mortal form, pulling her in. She sees a figure ahead but cannot fully discern it - she makes out a mouth, toothsome and with large tusks on upper and lower jaws curving. It turns towards her and grins lasciviously. Then a clatter behind her mortal form startles her and she is looking through her mortal eyes once more.

Ha and Toshizo see a watakushi arrow come out of the darkness from the direction of the cave, sailing over Taka's head while she stands, unaware, and embeds itself in the wood siding of the building behind her.
(Round 4, Phase 12)
The leading bakemono-sho grasps the unconscious Amano Souta and resumes his labored sprint towards the cave mouth, leaving the corpse he had been dragging behind next to the bake slain by Ha's arrow through the skull, the reminder of the latter spurring him on. The wounded bake grasps the corpse he originally pilfered and follows. The two diggers who escaped Eiji at the grave now are in a full sprint, trying to catch up to the others and reach the cave mouth.
Two corpses now left behind (new marker on field), along with the corpse of the bakemono-sho. The two lead bake are heavily encumbered so have a max speed of "walking" and move 4 hexes. The latter two bake are "running" and move 8 hexes.

Souta spent a ki point to be stable at 0hp, but is being transported by the bakemono-sho in place of one of the dead bodies.
Actions! Toshizo, Eiji, Ha, then Taka.

Toshizo draws another willow leaf arrow and takes aim at the monster carrying Souta.

BCS 12. I believe the target is past 20 yds, so Short and not Point Blank range (+0). -1 for partially encumbered.

Critical Success! :)

As the bakemono-sho begin running off with Amano Souta's body, Toshizo and Ha both draw their bows and aim at the one carrying her. Toshizo's willow leaf arrow comes down and slices under the warty bake's arm. (-8) It drops Souta and stops in place, squealing about its pain to the other bake as it tries to stop the thick red blood running down its arm. Taking advantage of the moment, Ha launching a powerful broad-headed arrow at the creature - the arrow slices through the center of the creature's throat. (-33) The bake gurgles for just a moment, then collapses over backwards.
Toshizo's shot stuns the bakemono-sho as the critical hit effect, setting him to Passive. That eliminates the -2 for Walking and gives a +2 for Passive instead.
With that adjustment, Ha's bowshot hits an AC 3.
Ha damage [5d6+3]=20+3=23 and [5d3]=10
Eiji turns and steps over to the edge of the grave, collecting his spade. He looks into the black hole, seeing the desecration of his work first hand.

Taka?

Taka attempts to draw on the moisture that is beneath the ground, concentrating it in an area in front of the cave entrance and in the path of the bakemono-sho dragging bodies towards the cave entrance.

Turn Order:
Phase 16: Jīva (Basic Action)
Phase 12: Bakemono-sho (Basic Action)
Phase 10: Souta (Basic Action)
Phase 9: Toshizo (Basic Action)
Phase 6: Eiji (Basic Action); Souta (Secondary Action)
Phase 5: Ha (Basic Action)
Phase 4: Toshizo (Secondary Action)
Phase 3: Souta (Secondary Action)
Phase 2: Taka (Basic Action)
(Round 4, Phase 2)
Taka attempts to draw on the moisture that is beneath the ground, concentrating it in an area in front of the cave entrance and in the path of the bakemono-sho dragging bodies towards the cave entrance. The bowl valley floor, with its nearby pond, has plenty of water beneath its surface. The long grasses obscure the hazard lying at their roots, but the sorceress feels the pull of the water and knows a surprise now waits for the baka...
Duration is 10 minutes. Cost is 2 power points for Taka.
Long range = 10 yards per level.

So, technically, 10 yards from Taka is still in the firelight and the location you want is actually 20 yards. I'm going to be lenient and say you can cast at up to double the range at 1/2 BCS, which with your roll is still successful, because this is a cool idea and being level 1 is hard enough already.

This creates Treacherous Ground. Unfortunately this condition is not defined anywhere in any of the Bushido books, and an online search only confirms that others reached that conclusion. It also doesn't state the area of the effect. There is a similar spell "Traitor Ground" that sets an area of affect with a radius "5 yards times his level" and implies that this condition requires savings throws for "over-rapid movement." In the combat section, it says an attacker has a -1 BCS on Treacherous Ground and up to -5 in extreme conditions (i.e. on a boat in a Typhoon).

I am going to use the 5 yard radius and draw it on the map. I am also going to make the goblins do Speed saves for over-rapid movement. If they fail, they have to pass a Strength save to stand back up per the spell description.
(Round 5, Phase 14)
As the ground soddens, another arrow comes streaking from the darkness with incredible force. Taka ducks just in time - it slices through the arm of her kimono and lodges in the side of the building behind her next to the previous black-fletched projectile... but that was far too close for comfort.
Shot from the cave [1d20]=13 [5d6+3]=20+3=23[5d3]=8
...so close that only her AC 2 nice clothes saved her!
(Round 5, Phase 12)
The three remaining bakemono-sho continue to run for the cover of the cave entrance. They are surprised as their broad feed splatter in the mud, but their short, squat forms have no difficulty in traversing the treacherous ground as the squelchy muck splashes around them. The one wounded previously by Souta and who's vicious blow laid her low grabs her by the arm and pulls her through the mud, bringing her unconscious form with him at a slowed pace while the other two, running at full speed from the graveside, are now fully caught up.
Speed ST (BCS 5) [1d20]=5 [1d20]=3 [1d20]=1
...wow, that's some good luck for those guys! None of them fall in the mud.
Toshizo, Ha (shooting), Eiji?
