Hope this is interesting for everyone and not feeling like a drag. I wanted to give you a chance to add to the narrative in your own way and give you a response to it that allows you to do a little storytelling on your end about your characters.

Re: Off Duty 2 (OOC)
I was trying think what Roy would bring from the UK but the only thing I could think of was that mug from the show

Re: Off Duty 2 (OOC)
I did just come up with one more thing he would have a picture of his grandpa wearing a kilt back in the 30's or as close as i could locate online anyway. Claiming his grandpa is former irish military anyway.Bluehorse wrote:Yeah, I laughed! Re: Off Duty 2 (OOC)
Well didn't that "club" claim Roy's grandpa was a member as well so i think that could tie together well.

Re: Off Duty 2 (OOC)
What I'm thinking of claiming is that his grandpa was about 18 or 19 and served in the irish military the year WWII started and he was upset that his country would not aide the allies so he joined the British military and fought alongside them aiding the allied forces. He later on moved to america after the war ended along with some of his fellow irish country men in his later retirement years.Bluehorse wrote:GreyWolfVT wrote:Well didn't that "club" claim Roy's grandpa was a member as well so i think that could tie together well.your thinking along the right lines now! The hooks are catching!

I'm going to take Bps if you don't make this a thing
I love it and it meshes so perfectly with the narrative so far. I love it!

I added that in context to my post so it's in there now. Don't take my BPs man!

Awwwww. I have finally made someone properly paranoid! I feel like a real GM now!Pulpatoon wrote:Etta collects the boots they bought for tromping amongst snakes. The official 1 year anniversary is Tuesday.
I want to give everyone a gift.
So tell Santa Brett what you want, but then first one to try to sit on my lap gets an appointment with Jack in the Hospital

Re: Off Duty 2 (OOC)
Happy Anniversary!

What an offer. I... I have no idea. I feel like our characters are developing nicely, so I don't think we need any mechanical bennies (I still haven't used my Christmas die roll). And I have no idea what to ask for in-world, because there is so much already going on!
Basically, I just want the game to continue rollickin' along for another year!
