Branc is wild mage and can cast from any school, yes?
Fezuul cannot cast, or learn from his opposition school (ill look it up in a second)
other than that, it is possible, however, school knowledge, increased length of study and chance to learn are essential (with occasional bonuses/penalties)
And the medical journal may not be suitabe......too early to say, (no for now)

I edited the post about Fezuul hearing of a dragon disguised as a human.
I rolled it on the rumor page of the module, its not true (although it is true somewhere in Oerth) and i dont want the party heading anywhere near that goosechase.

So regarding the comment made by the waitress on the Whistling Fish action thread, I'm to just ignore it then?

"I tells you! Look to the skies and tell me what you see.... clouds, sure sure, bugs, leaves. Yeah, normal stuff right? See any birds then? Haven't seen any for months, months! Somethin' is going on, it's too unnatural. Where did all the birds go!?" The drunk patron puts down his empty mug and falls out of his chair. Everyone laughs, but you cannot help but feel uneasy about the man's drunken statement. Might be worth checking out sometime...

How's that for a rumor?

I didn't quote it from anywhere and I put it in quotation marks so that it sounds like it could have been part of the story. Glad to hear that it sounds legit!

Just the last two I think, so I updated my experience accordingly. With bonus experience in effect, I would have recieved 1100 (440+660).

Fezuul would have recieved 440+550+660 = total 1650 +5000 initial = 6650/10000
and the schedule looks good for 770+880+990 next three weeks, but i may have just jinxed it.

OK, leveled up the shaman. Added blind fighting (I had figured Ag would practice up on that after the battle with the ant-thing, so assume he was practicing those nights during the time he spent outside the city) and weapon specialization with the scimitar (guessing he'll need to find a trainer and spend some time before that kicks in; it's a 4-month training time, yikes!).

Let's go catch us some blue-robes!

Benson can instruct in Blind fighting. But not in specialization of scimitar...

Benson, caught up in the festivities last night, more than the others, cannot single out any blue robe in particular, in fact he may have seen a few
isn't that what i just role played? yes, yes it is... and after not only living in the city, but actually policing the roughest part of town - he would know of the blue skinned mage that is part of the guild.

If heading out the door immediately following the doctor's 'warning', you might, could, probably, possibly get outside just as they get here.
DM edit: the group can have an action as they hear the horses coming to a stop directly outside.
