Pheras asks, "Wolves hunt in packs right? Is it the same for werewolves?"

Krakus-Rethor was there any sign that any of the victims may have survived the attack? If so we may have large group of werewolves to fight. Have heard of any other attacks from any of the villages around here?

Rethor nods "I sure can." Rethor ties off his horse at the house and starts to lead where the tracks change.

Rethor responds "None that I had heard the sawmill here got abandoned after the second attack and you saw where there relocated does not appear that they are suffering in the new location. As for the other two towns in the area they are a good days travel or two away I've not heard from them. I did however pay a messenger to travel to both towns and have not yet heard back from him. He should be back today or possibly tomorrow I hope."

Krakus- Do you think that you will be able to follow tracks where they changed into human form?

Krakus- Do we want to move out now or stay in one these abandoned houses and see if we have company in the night?

"Oh, play the sheep! That's a great idea but we would need a lot of luck", realizing he spoke with a bit of a loud voice, he takes a step back and stares at the ground.

Arastor glances sidelong at Pheras and smiles. The elf had spent far too much time with his nose in a book instead of outside where all the senses could share in the experience. But he had a good idea. They would be able to do little in the dark of night so playing the sheep might pan out. "A wise idea Pheras but I would like to use what sunlight we have first. Krakus, I think we should check these tracks while we have the chance. I would hate to lose them to the weather."

Rethor leads on for a bout another 20 minutes and sure enough he points ahead "See there it is strange the large wolf tracks look like bare human foot prints. Almost as if the creature turned to a man again and then the trail goes cold and the prints are not to be found much further up."

Pheras seems to be deep in thought, "What frightens me is if these beasts can turn to humans then they could have spies hidden within these towns to feed them information", he looks to Rethor, "Do you suspect anyone?"

Canis(Crow) looks over the tracks, turning to Rethor for an additional question, "The tracks disappear? How far? Who was searching?" He looks to the more woodsy members of the party, thinking that perhaps they would like a go at the tracks.

As the others talk, Arastor will take it upon himself to investigate the tracks. He will look at and compare the wolf to human tracks. Check the gait to make sure they were made by the same creature. Then he will follow the human tracks out as far as he can.

Rethor "Who was searching myself and one other guard we don't have any rangers of the sort in town. Less one of you is one. Nobody I know is new in town aside from you folks that I brought here myself. None of the folks in the town have been acting anything other than normal."

Krakus- Barbarian: AC 4: HP 28

So what have we decided? We going to stay in town or camp out here in the woods? I know none my companions are werewolves. We met some hunters on the road how often do they come to town?

Says,
" I say we stay inside the town. This way if they try to abduct more townsfolk, we can follow them, maybe prevent their abduction even, however we need to see where they take them/ retreat to. "

" If we stay out in the woods, we may be attacked first to stall & eliminate us from helping. "

Mathias pipes up. "We should stay in town. Following them doesn't make much since any victims are more than likely are werewolves now anyway."
