Absolutely agree.Alethan wrote:I prefer keeping OOC comments out of the IC thread, too, when possible. But if I feel like I need to point out something mechanical or indicate a skill being used or something, I like to use the spoiler. I think it's cleaner looking in the IC post.dmw71 wrote:Spoiler.Alethan wrote: You mean with the spoiler? Or calling him "mate"?

Re: OOC I
I'm assuming Storm's posting problem was probably because I posted my response while he was typing his.
Was hoping he would see my post and maybe amend his, but...
Then I thought about just deleting mine, but I'd worked so hard on the lie. So I figured I'd just let it play out.
Anyway, I suspect he didn't see my post; otherwise, it wouldn't have made much sense to post what he did.

I assumed as much, and did note the time of the nearly overlapping posts.
No worries.

Not at all.Storm11 wrote:I was going to amend it, but then thought that was a bit like cheating so let it stay
That's not to say you have to amend your post, but you're welcome to in situations of overlapping posts like that.
But, again, don't worry about it in this instance.

Re: OOC I
honestly, I dont see where the two necessarily contradict each other.
a) he overheard and asked to tag along
b) he paid us to take him
so, he paid to tag along...
that was why I attempted to steer the conversation to account for both...

ahhh good thinking!AleBelly wrote:"We've done nothing wrong" states Sylvan flatly. "And this situation is suspicious. Silas is a grumpy old bastard, and I'm not saddened to part ways with him. But he didn't seem a fool. He was happy to be back, and took no precautions on entering town. If he was guilty of something, I doubt he'd bound into town without disguise or guile. What grounds have you to detain him?"

Let's please try to keep any out of character discussion out of the main thread.Storm11 wrote:ahhh good thinking!AleBelly wrote:"We've done nothing wrong" states Sylvan flatly. Not a huge deal, so don't worry about it. The occasional ooc comment is fine, but don't get offended if I move it to this thread.Storm11 wrote:Sorry

I never thought I'd have to say this, but I need to wait to make the next update until Ethan responds.
