Trendt has already cast that for the day, but I rolled a 1 for Rubesca to cast, so let's go with Trendt's 2 instead.

Rubesca moves near Gwydion and casts 'cure light wounds'. +2 HP

The two kobolds shake their heads, staring disgustedly at the mostly lifeless monster in Sammy's arms. "That one is new. He knew nothing. We can guide you through the rooms we know of, but the leaders never went into the natural caverns. The few who did never returned. Big spiders live in there!"

The party debates whether to open this door in the north side, or to go back to the trap door in the floor of the room where the first secret door was found.

Ah shoot I had forgotten to check it on my sheet as used then because I just checked it as cast when I posted that. Oh well. I tried.

Trendt looks to the two kobolds and speaks in their tongue "Do you know what lies behind this door?" he points to the north door indicated on the map "Does that lead to the big spiders?"

Sammy the Barbarian

Sammy hands the limb body to the other two kobolds. "Do with him what you will." He walks toward the locked door, looking it over. "I say we go in here, since we are already here."

The quiet kobold kicks the mostly dead kobold and the outspoken one uses his newly acquired short sword to swipe off the kobold's head with a furious scream. He rests a few moments and it appears he finally feels better about life after all of that. He moves toward the door and speaks to Trendt about it. "We were only here two weeks. Leaders never opened locked door, figuring it was safe enough as is. None of us knew where that door went, but no kobolds ever went in there. Nothing ever came out either, so we assume it's empty."

"Sure," agrees Llewellyn, "let's see what's behind this door."

Merthyr

eager for more door kill marks on his scabbard, pushes past the others, eyes glowing with a strange glimmer, and intones: "Break on through - to the other side!" and slams his sword into the wooden portal

"Thanks! Gods be praised!"

Coppish, Elf F/T
"I would prefer to investigate the trap door in the floor, but I will acquiesce to the party's wishes. Corellon - Guide us well!"

Fanxyl-Goes over to the leaders bodies and check to see if there is any keys or anything of value on the bodies. Maybe there is a map or some keys these guys may be holding.

[1d100] = 2

Llewellyn searches the door and finds a trap. Roll d% to remove it, and d6 to unlock the door if you're successful.

Merthyr, his hatred of doors getting the best of him, moves forward and swings his sword at the offensive barrier.

[1d20] = 9 His sword bounces off of one of the iron slats.

The talkative kobold decides to take up a conversation with Trendt and Biblo. "I am Osh. My friend is Kosh. We help you through other rooms. They have strange things in them and statue gods, but no creatures." Osh nods and holds out his hand to the dwarf in a gesture of greeting.

Llewellyn can't help himself. "Osh and Kosh? By gosh!"

He works on disarming the trap, but his hand slips.

Freddie gives the trap a try.
[1d100] = 45
His fingers slip as he giggles about the kobolds' names.

Osh speaks up while watching Llewellyn and Freddie fail at removing the trap. "See why we never could open it? Bad door! Maybe we break it down."

Trendt "That'd be ill advised Osh Kosh by gosh. Thing bein trapped you'd never know what is on the other end. Best leave it be. Let us put the door behind us fer now and move on."

Biblo, scribe

"Thank Enlil the trap was not set off from our attempts to disarm it," comments Biblo. "I wonder what could be behind it. Something of value probably, given its defense."

"Perhaps we could burn it down," suggests the arcanist, sniffing the air that still carries the odor of burnt oil.

Adel strolls back into the room, a sullen look on his face. "Secret doors...I've never found one..." he mutters. His eyes brighten at the mention of a trapped door. "Oh! Let me try! Reminds me of my family's jewelry store."

Adel fumbles about trying to disarm it.

Sammy the Barbarian

As the formal introductions are make, Sammy bursts out in a deep belly laugh. This continues until the two specialists fail to identify the trap on the door. Then he busts a gut on the failure.

"Well, perhaps it's time to see the goblins."

Rubesca gets fed up with the door blocking the way and asks everyone to move aside while she kicks it in, or gives it an honest try.
Strength Check: [1d20] = 6

The door is shattered upon a well placed kick from the strong cleric, the metal of her booted foot splintering the wood around her foot. The door flies off of its hinges and crashes to the floor. She pulls back with a small grin and gestures into the darkened room for the others to enter before her.

As the party files into the room at their leisure, they notice a very empty room, devoid of any and all furniture and covered in dust as though completely undisturbed for several decades. The room is dark, but there is a brilliant glint in the party's torch and lantern light coming from the north wall.

Trendt "Well I'd say yer lucky kickin the door didn't set the trap of and get ya killed. But good work none the less. Sammy I'd love ta go smash some goblins with ya. But I suppose we had best search this room a bit first." Trendt takes out a torch of his own and lights it. "Well now lets have a better looksee."

Gwennethel, Elf Druid

Gwennethel is thinking hard...even biting a nail. She says "I would suggest that those of us who can detect traps and secret doors lead the party in. Since there has been no coming or going in a long time, I would think that it is all we need to be concerned about. So I think that would be all us elves and the dwarf and those with thief abilities. Personally, I would like to begin to walk the perimeter of the walls starting with the wall to the left."

Gwennethel walks slowly into the entrance and finding the wall to the left begins walking slowly. She begins looking for any secret doors or portals she may be near.
