Part 3: Sojourn into the Barrowmaze

Heading back to the party, Marcus stops and tells them the hall is clear, of any possible threats, and the creature is dead with nothing worth looting.

Scratching his backside and examining his fingernails, Dren heads back to his bedroll grumbling about broken sleep ...

Erinar says, "Maybe it would be better if we took our rest in the chamber above, yes?"

Need to know if there is a response to Erinar's suggestion or not before proceeding.

"How much longer do the rest of you need? I can't image there'd be a third disturbance tonight. Then again, mother always said bad things come in threes."

If we are all rested up and the casters have their spells back, I am all for moving onward and FINIALLY leaving this darn room. Seems like we been here for months!

Same here .... Depends on the Spellcasters ... If they are rested, we can move on

Erinar needs 8 hours "uninterrupted" rest to recover spells unless the dm rules otherwise. We can continue without healing support if youguys want to.

We really need those heals so I guess we wait...

we should really get to a safer location if we want those heals. this isn't working out where we are.

Waiting for a consensus. If you are looking for another location, you could

1. use a room with doors which could be barred,
2. you could use the entrance above you and pull the rope up behind you then you would only have the open entrance into the barrow to worry about,
3. go to another barrow with a functional door, or
4. head back into the woods away from the barrows.

However, GTan_Baq is correct. The spell casters need 8 hours of continuous uninterrupted rest to get their spells back and that has not happened yet. Each wandering monster encountered reset the clock.

I say go to the nearest room with a door and sleep. Thatis my vote. Also, can you PLEASE show us on the map where were are located again? Been sooooo long I forgot where we are at((

"It was all nightmares about spiders and broken glass," Mortiganto says with a shudder. "I can't possibly get any rest in this cursed tomb. It's like pretending to be dead next to the dead. Tempting the gods. I vote we head for the woods and make a proper camp."

The party is currently located in the left most room on the map, the one with rubble along the wall. In the middle of the room is a rope which goes up to the barrow above you.

"Ok, Mortiganto. I agree with you. Let's take the rope back up and rest in the woods."Marcus looks back at the rest of the group. "Who all is coming?"

Erinar says, "I'm with you. I don't like the idea of sleeping in a tomb anyway."

ok...so we all move out and camp in the woods. Marcus take first watch
