Tib wants to cast his web across the doorway to snare the ones just inside an keep the others from entering yet. However, I don't think I should do that if we are still trying to turn them.
He could instead cast haste on our party to give us more attacks.
Any thoughts?

You won't be able to turn these zombies. Melampus had his shot, Iluq is paralyzed, and Bragar can't turn undead (he's a 1e version of a specialty cleric; he can use all weapons at the cost of not being able to turn undead).

I was just wondering how the DM felt about spell sharing?
I mean, could the magic-users cast read magic on each others books and try and learn some other the others spells.
Just curious

In theory, I'm fine with it. In practice, copying a spell takes so long I'm not sure you'll have undisturbed time to do it. Unless you're talking about using Read Magic to directly memorize a spell from someone else's spell book, which I'll have to think about.

Yeah I was wondering about using read magic to directly memorise from each others spellbooks.
No worries. Just something to mull over I thought ;P

I think I already ran through most of the spell list for Fendt. That 12 INT really doesn't do him any favors (45% chance to know any spell!).
Who talked him into studying magic, anyway?

if I was offered a re-roll for Int I'd go for it but my luck i'll roll a 6 this time.

Zhym wrote:Silver, platinum, and even copper coins are likewise structured in meticulous arrangements. Because the room is so compulsively arranged, Tibbius (the most mathematically inclined of the group) is quickly able to calculate that there are exactly 51,220 cp, 24,105 sp, 16,383 gp, and 1,055 pp.
To your right, a small velvet-lined display case topped in glass holds 25 gems and jewels, arranged in a five by five grid according to color, size, and quality.
On the ledge to your left rest three maces, each engraved and inset with precious metals. A scimitar lies near them, its blade covered in intricate etchings.
Between the weapons and the gold are two vials of a thick-looking pink liquid. Each is labeled, with flawless penmanship, "Antidote."
In the middle of the room is a tall bookstand on which rests an ancient tome bound in thick black leather with brass hinges and fastenings. A single word is worked into the leather of the cover: Strahd.
Jackpot!!!!

Robert does some quick calculating and says, "Here is what we have in the treasure vault."
Strahd's Treasure Vault Items
Mace #1
Mace #2
Mace #3
Scimitar
Gems
Coral (130), Garnet (110), A pink pearl (120) white pearls (120, 200), 2x amber (100 ea.), Golden yellow topaz (100), Chrysoberyl (100), Periodot (1400), Alexandrite (dark green) (100), spinel (very deep blue) (1000), 2x amethysts (500, 100), Jet (200), Star ruby (1000), 2x fire opals (1000 ea.), 3x opals (1000 ea.), emerald (600), Sapphire (1000), Star sapphire (1000), black sapphire (5000)
Gem value = 17,980 GP
51,220 cp, 24,105 sp, 16,383 gp, and 1,055 pp
Current party makeup is 9 players and the town gets 1 share making it 10.
Each share is 5,127 CP, 2,418 SP, 3,438 GP, 105 PP
Odd coins were converted back down to the next lower value and added into that group as needed.
This doesn't count the value of the weapons so if someone gets a weapon that would come out of their share of coins and gems. So Castran can put the gems back. The black sapphire may be more than your share to begin with if you were trying to get that one.
