Now, the pair are enroute to the air car's crash site, while they review the case file - such as it is.

William will start out by appropriating one of the broker bots and setting it to look for medium sized hospital chains and medical supply companies that might be cash strapped and open to significant investment. He himself will hire a high powered but discrete law firm to aid him in unraveling the business affairs of the count.

The crash took place three days ago and the security service closed the matter suspiciously quickly with a ruling of mechanical failure due to not conducting required maintenance. A contributing factor was the young woman's supposedly intoxicated state. Her BS meter is sounding.

The crash happened in a remote area outside the city proper. It has some hills and one of them was the impact site. It looks as if the wreck has been removed, but the scene shows no sign of being taped off for an investigation.

The city is literally packed with people. Overcrowding on Aki is a way of life, and the place is dingy and dirty. That's the city, though the apartment is also.

As you have the funds, you can make it happen. There is no surveillance equipment there. It's an apartment. Metz can provide surveillance equipment for you, though he is short on time as he is also looking into things in the science and research sectors with Bianca. The process of leasing it and getting it set up will take half a day. It is now done.

Roscoe (the one on the ship) can handle that for you. None of the local hospital chains or medical supply companies are overflowing with cash, but one in particular--Raven's Hawk Medical Services--a low-cost clinic setup that has a rundown hospital and a dozen clinics is really on the ropes. It has declared bankruptcy and is in the process of being liquidated. Well, about to be in the process as the auction for the assets is set for later today.

One the medical supplies side, there are some businesses that are doing poorly, but they don't have much to offer for your needs. The equipment is terrible, and the reviews are awful. If you wanted to buy one, you would need to approach one. A random selection on the choices gives you one that seems very shady and might even be a way a criminal organization launders money. That would be Nevil Medical Devices. If you want one that is less shady, but still crappy, Tester Services might fit the bill.
