Watchfort Reclamation Continued, Spring 669.
Re: Watchfort Reclamation Continued, Spring 669.
At Springkeep, when he is not receiving treatment for his wounds, Dramm spends most of his time in the Lawgiver's chapel. Barnaby accompanies him.
Neil Gaiman: "I started imagining a world in which we replaced the phrase 'politically correct' wherever we could with 'treating other people with respect', and it made me smile."..."I know what you’re thinking now. You’re thinking 'Oh my god, that’s treating other people with respect gone mad!'"

After the third week of Dramm's sporadic vigil, Reverend Elder Tomas St. Virtas walks up to him where he kneels. Barnaby coughs meaningfully. The older fighter looks up at the Bishop-Abbot.
"Your ... holiness," says Dramm: "I seek investment in the Order of Paladins."

We shall game this out in your subforum.tibbius wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 10:53 pm After the third week of Dramm's sporadic vigil, Reverend Elder Tomas St. Virtas walks up to him where he kneels. Barnaby coughs meaningfully. The older fighter looks up at the Bishop-Abbot.

Would he want to scout west for the next steps? There's the Goblin held watchfort, and getting an idea of their strength and organization would be useful. JJh has talked about a potential alliance vice mass slaughter. We also have the watchfort after that, which might get done this year (669) if the Goblins can be resolved quickly.CarrieVS wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 12:21 am Earnan has never seen Springkeep, so at first he travels there with the majority of the company. But having no desire to be converted to the faith, it does not hold his interest long, and he soon sets out again.
The elf has no concern about travelling alone, especially across-country: there are few foes he could not give the slip to, and he explores somewhat of the lands hereabouts.
He makes sure to be back at Eastfort when Jing Jiho and his company are expected to return.

Jjh'll find out where Earnan's been when we're both back at Eastfort, won't he! Those all sound like great ideas; stuff is ongoing.
Around two weeks after the departure from the Wight Fort, Morwen assuming she's there. Otherwise whoever she left in charge has a sudden, brief visit from Earnan. He only stays long enough to refill his waterskin and to explain that he has learned of a band of ogres, a dozen or so with a strong chieftain, are occupying the woods where they approach close to the road, some miles northwest of Ravenswell (42,15).
They are said to be too cowardly to risk a fight, but may well attack any smaller and less-armed groups passing along the road. Will Morwen see to it that pilgrims passing Ravenswell are warned?
Then he departs again, striking out west, away from the road.

Since Earnan was going to Springkeep, I thought they might have discussed it then. However, if he's already elsewhere, then no worries!

Morwen would have headed back to Ravenwell. Her response would be something like 'oh, great, ogres...'CarrieVS wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 10:33 pm Around two weeks after the departure from the Wight Fort, Morwen assuming she's there. If she doesn't have the troops or desire for it, she knows that Eastfort troops patrol their road all the way to Ravenswell and back.roobeastie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 11:55 pmMorwen would have headed back to Ravenwell.
