Hex and Raffi are fine with it too. The halfling will keep a keen watch on the tunnels behind him as the last member.

Marching Order is fine by me as well
Boff hmms and haws over the choices before them... "Hmm I dunno maybe south? Both ways are goin deeper down, but the north has water seeping through the west wall so I dunno how safe it is might run near a river."

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
Nah Olos "Didn't the Dwarves say to go left, that it would take us to caves?"The group travels for a few hours and there is the first major decision point as the Highway splits into two tunnels, one is more to the left and one more to the right. Goverlun confirms what anyone that looked at the map and recommends moving to the right-most tunnel. Another decision point come over an hour later Goverlun confirming the left tunnel. Goverlun suggests that the group stop for lunch here and the dwarves will be returning home at this point. "In perhaps another two hours you will come to one more decision point. This point you will select the left tunnel. This will take you into a series of caves. We do not have a map of this area, but the far side (eastern side) is the Illithid's base of operations."

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
Androgost agrees that the order of march makes sense still. "Let's keep moving in the direction our dwarven friends indicated."

The Offramp
Moonday, 17th day of Planting, 597
12th day since leaving Loftwick
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 53/53)
Qleceec (AC 1, HP 62/63) (Infravision)
Garrant (AC 3, HP 49/50, Armor 8/8)
Boff (AC 5, HP 61/61)
Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 48/48) (Continual Light rock)
Androgost (AC -6, HP 60/65, Armor 25/26) (Glowing Sword)
Frannie (AC 4, HP 26/26)
Hex (AC 0, HP 27/27, Armor 6/8) (Continual Light coin)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 21/21, Armor 8/8) (Glowing Dagger)
The party decides to head down the left (northern) tunnel that is about 60' before entering the map. The tunnel is about 7'-8' wide, but opens up into a larger room. There is a natural one inch deep grove down the right edge of the tunnel (about 2' from the wall). The water in the air makes it a little more musty. With a lot of the light sources being at the back of the party you cannot see the entire room. (The yellow line is the approximate extent to what you can see.)
It opens into a fairly large chamber, as noted the full dimensions cannot be seen, but it all appears to be part of the same natural cavern system from the Highway. The water flows into the room and is heading in a roughly northeast direction across the room.
Map
Each square is 10'
Hex and Raffi are behind the Frannie and I did not have room to put them on the map.

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
Boff will move up to see if he can see anything with his dwarven infravision.

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
Androgost listens intently to the cavern in front. He examines the tunnel around him for any clue of passersby to help gauge what is ahead.

Qleceec has infravision still from the spell I think.

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
Qleceec does still have the infravision spell in affect, but with the group back to single group and two continual light sources out, infravision will not function for Qleceec or Boff.
Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
Qleceec
Maybe we should cover the light sources for a couple of minutes so we can scan ahead with infravision.

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
Hex and Raffi will retreat back down the tunnel until their light sources are out of the rest of the party

Hex (AC 0, HP 27/27, Armor 6/8) (Continual Light coin)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 21/21, Armor 8/8) (Glowing Dagger)
Hex and Raffi head back most of the way to the entrance to the area, about 10 feet from the Highway. Just to move this along, I am assuming that Siouxsie and Androgost put away/out their lights. For a few minutes that party (other than Hex and Raffi) are basically blind until the groups infravision kicks in. Of course Garrant does not have infravision and can only see about 1 foot in front of his face because of the natural lichen in the cave. There is water flowing from the tunnel and crossing the room towards the northeast. From the entryway Nah Olos can see most of the room (and the farther you are back the less you can see). There are two parts of the room that are to far away from Nah Olos to see from the entryway (as noted with the brown lines). Other than the forementioned lichen and water the cave appears to be empty.
