Andron, there was or, rather, is this weird... Demi-god? Inhabiting the cold basement. He looked very powerful so we didn't deem challenge him. He charms people in just a second with the power of his mind and demanded that ome of ua remained by him as his servant. Our lives and freedom were our reward.
Wake tried to sacrifice himself for Darklin's freedom, but the elven mage didn't react.
It was a cowardly decision, I know, but it allowed us all to leave the place and remain alive."

The Princess nods in agreement with resting."That would help me personally, but time may not be on our side. I suggest that those seriously wounded hang back while we investigate downstairs and determine if the darkness is connected."
