Valkrina
"What is it Drest?" she huddles with the others debating in her head wether another leafy headdress might be in order.

Apollonius Triton
The Atlantean takes cover and conceals himself, straining to make out any snatches of conversation.

Euripides Nereos
The purloiner also takes cover, waiting to see whether or not the voices come their way.

On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Re: The Aftermath
Trail Towards The Water
Early Afternoon, Cloudy, Cool
Once everyone is hidden off the trail, they attempt to hear if the voices are coming any nearer. The obvious sounds of gulls and waves can be heard in the distance, and the briny smell of the ocean becomes obvious, but the voices don't get any louder.
Assuming the voices must belong to stationary guards, Drest scouts ahead for a closer look and catches a glimpse of a gravely shoreline ahead. The end of the trail is guarded by a pair of men in chainmail armor who stand there talking with each other while a few other men wander around between a few hut-like buildings and a pair of small watercraft pulled up onto the grey stones of the beach. The scout doesn't risk getting any closer.
Pretty sure he wasn't spotted, Drest hurries back to the others to tell them what he saw up ahead.
Actions?
positions: Drest AC:7 5/7
Akhilleus AC:4 11/11
Valkrina AC:6 8/8 1/1
Apollonius AC:8 3/5 2/2
Euripides AC:5 7/7 2/2
Xenos AC:5 7/9 0/2

Re: The Aftermath
Valkrina
Asks about the watercraft. Are they sailing boats? How many masts, oars? Can they take us all. What condition are they in?
Maybe sneak into a hut. Might be storage, ropes, sails, foods?
"So do we make a plan? I have an idea."
She shares one option: send the two aquamen (Euripides and Apollonius) around over here to the right, 100'ft away from the boats. Sneak across the forest into the water then swim around to come out behind the boats. Check them out, maybe even pull one into the ocean if it is seaworthy.
As you exit the water we can sneak from the forest right behind these huts. Search them, then bust out to hijack the boats.

"Who knows how to sail a boat? Maybe we should go kill this Onja, recover the minds of these people, then we can all leave."

Re: The Aftermath
Akhilleus
"I'm with Xenos. As much as I want to leave this place, I wouldn't wish anyone to remain like the two eunuchs we met. That's no fate for a warrior. This Onja must pay for what he's trying to do to us.
Maybe we first dispatch those two. You can get their mail birnies and weapons. If we catch them by surprise, we won't be heard. Then we kill the rest, the huts will serve as cover.
Probably the boats won't be enough to sail through the ocean either, but gaining control of this place is a good starting point."

Euripides Nereos
Shaking his head, Euripides offers his thoughts. I don't like the idea of fighting these guys. Not with that armor. Maybe we should go check out this Onja guy.

Apollonius Triton
"Somehow, I doubt that anyone on this island is both sane and friendly, but I would hate to attack these men or steal from them without knowing they're enemies." His brow settles into a pensive frown.
"But if we determine they are enemies, I could put a couple to sleep and even the odds somewhat."

"It's the better plan we have. Yes. I won't go near the water though. Not yet." He points at his chain hauberk.
It's a sound plan, actually. Sorry I forgot about your post.

Re: The Aftermath
2 guards in armor at the end of the trail and at least 2 others who may have been workers of some kind.
But there could certainly be more in the huts or other areas he couldn't see.
