I finished my term on Yolanda's Hope as a senior crewman and have experience specifically in the power plants of engineering and ship armaments. I have some tools and my Vacc Suit stored locally so will arrive to help alongside Nalani.

Perhaps it may serve as a good practical interview in regards to potential crew vacancies.

She turns to Pranit. "Okay, let's try this again. First, none of this is on you; it's on everyone who's trying to run over us. So, I think the crew area is safe enough, but be prepared to evac them, if you think it's necessary. Go make sure that they're okay, and I'll look for more engineers to help me."

"No problem boss, but I appreciate you saying that. I'll go back in and see if the monitors will record without the ship computer up. Then I generate a code to allow access only and leave the master code as you set up. I don't think we have time to set up extra codes for everyone. Afterwards, do you want me to find you or take a space walk for a exterior check. I have a thrust kit and a lot of EVA and tons of safety equipment. Or do you wnat me organizing and watching the police and etcetera."

I posted ahead a bit, but Indrani will make it to the bridge after Pranit does what he's proposing, so I think the timeline works.

"We don't have anyone for Dutchman watch, so let's hold off on the EVA until we do. For now, please watch whomever comes aboard, especially if they aren't suited up. I'm going to check the cargo bay doors, and then I'll go to the bridge."

Indrani takes out her ID chip and runs it through the ship's scanner. "Indrani Carter, voiceprint authenticate." She takes the chip with the paperwork and scans it, too.

Reven Stiilpahth gets up, now that his brain has warmed back up, and goes back to the ship. "Captain, Reven here. I can feel my fingers again. I have several toolkits - comms, life support, power, mdrive and mehanical - i can go and retrieve them if you want. I don't have a vacc suit - just this bubble suit from the emergency kit. Huh, some kit. eh?"

"Reven, there is a cabin door the police need to access, where the lock has been welded shut. I don't think you need a vacc suit, but check with Pranit, and see if you can open it. I will leave the tools retrieval for you to decide." Indrani replies.

Reven Stiilpahth climbs up to join Pranit, where he will concentrate and focus on opening/ unlocking the door.

Close inspection of the door shows that it has been melted by a laser that has slagged the lock, and melted both the door-frame and door together near the latch.

You opt for the solution that will leave the least work in the future and remove the entire door unit. There is a definite chemical smell as the door unit opens a crack. Using a scope normally good for inspecting inside conduits, you can make out what looks like the grows packing facility and what is probably the body of one of the packers. Quietly warning the Captain of what you are about to uncover, you undo the rest of the fixings and the whole unit is ready to slide out.

Please remind me about this order in forty-eight hours. Disregard the fire warning, and reset the detector. The Captain's cabin was visually inspected, and no fire is present. The defenses will remain offline, and the safe will be inspected later." She keys up the environmental systems display. "Hun, Monitor the environmental system, and the umbilical power feed. Run a diagnostic on the Number One power bus."
