No worries about the delay; I've been busier than a one armed wall hanger myself.

About ranks...am I understanding that all our characters are basically acting kinda like freelancers, including my pilot? I can see an argument either way...'Agents' would have a bit more freedom, being not so held down by regulations. However, I can also see my pilot, at least, also being an official ranking officer, as pilots would be in high demand.

If you want to simply run with them as Agents, that's fine. If you wanna discuss him being an officer, hit me up with a PM.

Jedi: You're a pilot; but you're assigned to Alliance Intel; which is kind of a combo of military Intel types and FBI/CIA types.....i.e. you're considered the equivalent of an Officer; but you're NOT a Pilot in the sense of being a member of the Starfighter Force or the Logistics and Supply Services (LSS) or the Alliance Fleet, etc.

By the way; in my take on things; there are pilots in multiple branches.....Luke would be an example of a pilot in the Starfighter Force; Han is an example of a pilot assigned to the LSS; etc. Hope that clears it up a bit!

Also....yes, Blasters being set to stun seems to be more the exception; rather than the rule in the Star Wars universe; so I'll assume they are on 'standard' setting unless the Stun setting is specifically mentioned (a la Zinn).

I am a Texan so my "4th of July" happens on April 21st. But yes, it was an enjoyable 3 day weekend.

Ah yes.....the battle of San Jacinto...probably the only battle I can think off the top of my head where the losing General escapes in an enlisted man's uniform and is only discovered later when his own fellow captured troops call him 'El Presidente'. Also interesting: little known fact that the two major battles of the Texas/Mexican War of 1836 (the final assault on the Alamo on March 6 and the Battle of San Jacinto) both took less than half an hour.....and the Alamo; despite numerous excellent movies' telling us otherwise; took place at dawn. But I digress....


The next post is up...the Battle is getting hot.....as I have not heard from Grey Starr; he will soon be 'written out' of the game. Have at it peoples!

I took what I thought were logical actions for Zinn and Borsk; firing back and Healing Grey Starr respectively. I hope you are both still here and interested in continuing in the game!

Also: Jedi; you are currently 'Wounded'; which means any actions you take are at -1D (except for rolling your STR to resist wounds; that's always done with you full STR score).

Yeah, that is what Borsk would have done. Funny, I thought that I had made an entry to that effect. I must have been dreaming it or something.
