If SIlvestri leaves the control room, bit stays on the contraption, does he have a safe shot to any enemy, or are they all engaged in melee with friends?

The two beasts looking out the side tunnel, behind the rail sled, are between 60-70ft away.

One humanoid in the main tunnel is engaged with Farmanus and Belial. The one in the turntable chamber is in melee with Frank.

From the sound echoing to your front and back, more are on the way.

I'll make a detailed map. :)

Whoa - what happened there with Denslow? Mutation failure? Delayed reaction? What are those?

Every time an active mutation is used, a roll must be made. A natural 1 is a Critical Failure and a Defect must be rolled. Other times it fails and cannot be used again that day.

The higher the roll, the better the result. Feel free to browse the Active Mutation charts. :)

its one of the unique features of MCC. 8-)

cool. so what's the effect of this 'advantage', do we still need to roll?

For example, I was going to have Silvestri use his empathy power again on the 4 creatures in the tunnel. Normally I be aiming to get a good enough roll to have at least one fleeing in fear, but some high-rolls for the power can put the creatures under his sway.

It states 'automatic hit' and refers to attack rolls. I used judgement and applied this to any beneficial roll.

For a Mutation Roll, make the roll but it will produce the minimum beneficial results. No failures. I will allow the advantage to bump the roll up one category without spending luck.

Would you kindly show me on the map where the spear is?

Secondly, if I disengage from an enemy during battle, does that trigger an 'attack of opportunity' on me? If so, what bonus, if any, applies to said AoO?

Yes. The enemy gets a "free attack" as you disengage. An attack roll against Farmanus is still required.

so silvestri's movement rate is such that can only move 1 hex per round. If he moved that, would he just get #6 in his 20' pyrokinesis range?
