The three wise men start looking over the contents of the collapsible keep, while the dwarves argue about who gets the honor of first watch.

The tomes in the collection are as follows:
A Study of Toxin Absorbing Salves
The Tinkerers Guide to Small Mechanisms
Herbal Remedies and Supplements
Herb Lore and Fauna
Minerals & Elements of the Reaches
Rylaras Living Statues
Abstract Uses of the Contrary Vine
Tropical Flora
Precious Stones and Their Application in Jewelry.
Fauna of Mountain Regions
Concoctions of Lyra the Apothecary Vol 1-4
Practices of Samen the Glass Blower
Isolating Rare Earths
The Dehydration of Solutions
Sublimation Processes
Gasification of Liquids
Rare Herbs by Climate & Terrain

Eirenaios sits to study his tome which seems to be a journal of a necromancer detailing dealings with creatures of the lower realms. There are several diagrams of arcane circles and runes stating their purposes. The scroll seems to be a collection of some of these meant to summon a succubus. Astoundingly her true name is also recorded.

Craxzus begins flipping through pages of various books but so far only finds pages of alchemic formulas and symbols.

Ruken notices that while not labeled with names the potions, and even the smaller vials, all have a label with what appears to be their ingredients. It shouldn't be hard to discern their purposes.
The two chests remain untouched.
Still need to know who takes first watch and how long. There's probably about 9 hours until sunrise.

Eirenaios agrees to take the last shift of 3 hours with whoever is going to take it with him. He sleeps soundly for 6 hours dreaming of demon rituals and slaying demons.

He will spend the shift going through the red book a bit excited of the fact that he is on the verge of unlocking such a mystery. he will have the alchemist in mind while reading, paying respect to the one who gave him the opportunity to learn such a thing.

Throm and His fellow dwarf (Thorgrim) were going at the same time at least that was my intent we do have others that can swap out shift wise for the two of us.

As Ruken skims through the titles, his face starts to lighten up, slowly yet steadily. Opening up the book on Precious Stones and Their Application in Jewelry, the gnome casually flips through the pages while sitting up against a wall. It doesn't take long for his head to droop down, his heavy eyelids to finally close. No less than a few minutes later, the group finds the gnome fast asleep, an open book laying on his lap. A smile can be found on his sleeping face.

The first watch goes by uneventful. Throm and Thorgrim wake Craxzus first and he wanders the camp perimeter for 3 also uneventful hours. Tyrion takes the last watch.
3 hours later the mornings first rays of light pierce the keeps only window and lightly illuminates the room. The smell of roasted pig fills everyones dreams and rumbling bellies remind you that you haven't eaten since the previous morning. Exiting the keep you see Tyrion working a small boar over a fire. He looks very proud.
Actually rolled youn wild boar on wandering encounter chart. Didn't figure it was worth the time to do combat as it had 4 hp. :)

Craxzus- While Craxzus takes watch he will examine the 2 chests. If there is room in the chests he shall store some of the loose items within them.

Throm "Eh look at that, got us some bacon fer morning feast. Good work there Tyrion." the dwarf comes over and slaps Tyrion heartily on the back and looks at the boar roasting on the fire as his stomach growls rather loudly. "How soo afore it be done lad?"

Eirenaios comes out of the hut holding an alchemy book and reading it out of pure curiosity, he looks at Tyrion and Throm and smiles, "It's a really beautiful day today isn't it, and to wake up to a roasting boar, ahhh, the gods are smiling upon us and it feels good", he sits down and continues reading, glancing at the sun, "Once we finish eating, we shall head for the tomb, being there in the night doesn't seem like a good idea"

The gnome dreams of his home town, and has a hard time waking up. Tossing back and forth in his sleep, he swats his face every now and then as he combats a swarm of very angry bees. The little gnome even goes so far as to apologize to them in a bits and pieces of sleep talk. 'No... how was I to know he would use the trout? ermmphh... Put down that jar... the pig? But he doesn't eat honey...'

After his fantastical adventure, something only a little gnome can think up, Ruken wakes to the smell of roasting boar. He puts the book he was looking through earlier down with the others in the hut and leaves to rejoin the others. He says with a smile and the stretch of his arms, "Ahh! It feels good to get some solid sleep in after a busy day! *yawn* A beautiful day for exploration indeed!" he says in response to Eirenaios, "and... *sniffs* pig! Excellent."

The gnome approaches the fire and sits down in front of it, putting his hands out to warm them against the fire. There is something about fire and fireplaces that seems to draw the little gnome in, like a moth to the flame. A comforting memory of home, he is never to far from it when next to a crackling fire.

As the gnome stares into the flames, his smiling face slowly takes on a tinge of a frown. The flames, they look just like the ones that consumed the lab... He looks up to Craxzus and Eirenaios with a smile, hoping to change the direction of the subject in his mind. "Did you two read anything interesting last night? I didn't get a good look at all of the books, but the titles looked promising."

Eirenaios smiles back at Ruken, "All these books truly look interesting but they are catered towards someone like you, an alchemist to which all this knowledge must be inherited to", he sighs a bit remembering the alchemists destroyed body, "At least revenge was served, the demon is dead, for now at least. Speaking of which, I think that the necromancer and the alchemist had a business agreement, the necromancer is to deliver a mean through which the alchemist would summon the demon and in return the alchemist would provide the necromancer with a potion that brings back the dead, but sadly the alchemist was too hasty and made a mistake.....did anyone see a tome or a book or anything of any importance belonging to the necromancer?"

After the excitement of the last days, Thorgrim quickly falls asleep. His dreams are disjointed and restless, visions of demons, mountains tumbling down, giant insects all scramble together until a giant pig appears and devours it all. At that moment he jerks awake as the smell of roasting boar comes wafting into the hut.

He stretches and pokes his head out of the doorway. "Oy! What have we here? If that tastes half as good as it smells it will be a feast fit for a king. I am starving! How long till we can eat?"

He finds a spot by the fire and impatiently waits for the boar to finish roasting.

Craxzus looks through the chests. The long foot.l9cker contains dozens of vials labeled with herbs and spices. There are also several of the strange metal syringe looking darts and some palm sized glass balls with stoppers on top. The other chest contains many small chests with powdered metals and precious stones inside.

Tyrion (npc) turns the heavy pig on the spit. "Aye, she's ready 'nuff. Git you a chunk."

The group enjoys their breakfast and speaks of what they've found and what's next.

"An interesting conclusion to come to," Ruken says in response to Eirenaios' remark, "certainly the exchange of information between such minds would be common considering our fields of study sometimes intermix." The gnome waits for his piece of meat until everyone else has gotten some, then continues the thread of conversation with the mage.

"A tome? Umm, I think there was one..." The gnome thinks back on the events in the crypt and then his eyes widen. "Why yes, a book! There was a book on an altar in the room the necromancer was in. We didn't think to grab it on the way out. The whole idea of touching something related to death magic and stuff sort of gave me the willies too." The gnome shakes in joking manner as he says this, holding his arms together as if cold.

Thinking back on the group's discoveries in that place, Ruken also recalls the stone tablet he found while looking by himself. It was one of the first clues he found that pointed towards the alchemist's existence on this island. Perhaps he should go back and collect it for further study, he cannot help but think.

Throm takes out a knife and slices off a piece of cooked meat from the boar and eats it happily savoring the juicy food.

Eirenaios takes a piece and starts chewing on it nodding to Tyrion in thanks, "So there was one....interesting", a faint smile comes and fades away quickly, "say, what happened to the spider metallic thing that you found? Did you get it work?"

Once Eirenaios finishes his piece of meat, he will stand up smiling and get ready to head to the tomb, "Is everyone ready for an adventure?"

"Metallic bug thing, err no. Didn't think it was worth hauling around everywhere. But if we back for it, we can haul it into the hut. I'm sure the books we found can aid me in repairing it, probably."

"Is everyone ready for an adventure?"
"I'm ready for a non-dangerous one! You know, the one's where there are no traps, monsters, demons, undead... come now, you haven't heard of the adventures where the gold is found in the first room and the doors are all unlocked?! It's not a thing, really? Oh..." The gnome looks as if he is genuinely shocked by the notion. He then shrugs and smiles. "Hey, had to ask. I'm ready to go when you all are. Just say when and I will pack up this hut."

Eirenaios smiles, "That would be one of the best adventures ever, although meeting another demon on the way would make it even better!", he says half jokingly accompanied with a small awkward laugh.

He looks to Craxzus, "That's a great idea!! I bet he can know exactly what it is, once we finish with the tomb we should take a long rest at evie's farm to assess all the things we collected so far", he then turns to the rest, "shall we head out?"
