Egad! I'm late to my own welcome! :D Thanks everyone.

Please, just call me Kai, if it pleases you. I look forward to facing inevitable doom with you all!

Welcome Kai!

Better call Saul!

And your other charges are thinner than a page from the Times. Now you need to either charge my client with something substantial which I doubt you have or you need to let him go."
Are the rest of us here for this part? I'm assuming we asked our questions and left, while the "real" interrogation began after. Reginald wanted to catch up with Eddie and Marius, and invite them along to NYC. And do some more spell research.

As for where to go next, The Shunned House seems as good a spot as any. We have no shortage of leads, including such diverse elements as Phoenix, New Orleans, New York, Boston, London, Amsterdam, Istanbul, and (probably) Pluto. I don't know that it's a good idea to split the party at this point. So I vote for NY and the Shunned House. What do you guys think?

Also, should Reg bring his shotgun? Seems a bit conspicuous to be walking around NYC with one.... But I also think he might need it at some point.

No, I don't think the investigators were there at that point.

Given the time constraint of your train to New York tomorrow at 10:00 am, which two spells will Reginald study? You realize that having the book along will aid in casting, as well as provide extra time on thhe train to study.

Nice note-taking Starbeard.

Reg will study Shining Trapezohedron and Elder Sign. He will bring the tome with him.

If there's still room Marius would be happy to volunteer for the NYC trip.

Thanks, Grog. Early on I figured since Marius was off on his own, it'd be much easier for everyone to catch up on his story with short but detailed notes, rather than force them to read the entire thread to see if my IC dialog missed any important points.

Marius will go to the Shunned House.

The two concoctions:
1) A clear, super slippery liquid that spreads quickly upon whatever surface it lands on and reduces the traction of whoever steps on it.

2) A white, super sticky substance that dries quickly forming an adhesive bond between two surfaces.

Know (70)[1d100] = 60
1) Liquid grease: Anyone walking on it makes a Resistance Table Dex. check versus 18 rating, or slip and fall.

2) Super Glue: Requires 3 rounds to dry. Requires Resistance Table Str. check versus 15 to separate.

It was a good convention, I did mostly gaming stuff as a player: A modern-day scenario in which Wal-Mart was a cult cover; Of Mice and Men and Monsters, in which the characters and setting were from the book; and a Tales of the Caribbean 1920s adventure run by the author and guy from Golden Goblin Press. I walked into the lobby of the Renaissance Marriott that had been a Masonic temple in HPL's time, it was interesting.

FYI, Darrin McCoy and Saul Rabinowitz have private forums wherein they are spreading good will and kindness. They may cross paths with others.

After enthusiastic PMs, I'm not sure where Kaithulhu and Coleridge went. Perhaps they went insane just reading all the threads.

Hi,
I’m going to be traveling for work for 3 days. I may not have time or connectivity to post. I'll be back Friday.

Please NPC my character if you need to keep things moving. Thanks!

Hey guys, I've enjoyed the game, but time commitments at home are pressing me hard. I'm working more at night for my day job just to keep up. I'm running the new outreach at church. I've got to give up some things, and the game is one of them.

Blessings to all the investigators in stopping the Black Pharaoh and Carcosa! Harold Matthers will be getting a message that he needs to come home to Arkham. I might drop back in the speak easy to say hi and see how everyone is doing.

Thanks Frank for playing. If circumstances change you're welcome to take up Harold again. Perhaps we'll see more stories of his adventures some day.

Thank you all for the great game. Would it be permissible for me to play out the exit when the shooters return from the range? I would like that very much.
