Re: OOC I
I just provided this explanation with Storm11 and will share it here so everyone has a common understanding:
dmw71 wrote:I think that's what makes sense to me. Once you cast an illusion, that illusion will remain in effect and can be controlled until it is dispelled or you cease concentration on it, but no new illusions can be introduced to what is already in place. In the case of your Festus and Fulp illusion, they would have been able to do things such as draw weapons, retrieve items from a backpack, and so on, using the items they already had on them at the time of casting -- it would all be a continuation of the initial illusion. Adding a new effect (e.g. a bank of fog, or having a third party member spring up out of nowhere) won't be possible though as they weren't a part of the original casting.Storm11 wrote:And am I right in thinking that once I have created an illusion that's what it remains until I stop concentrating, I can move the illusion about (say like making the illusion of Festus and Fulp walk or run or fight or whatever, or maybe cause a bank of fog to roll slowly forwards within spell range?) but not create any new illusions once the spell has been first cast yeah?
Anything "new" would require a new spell, which would cause you to stop concentration on your first spell, so the new illusion would completely replace the first one. Make sense?
If you have any questions about whether or not something is possible, definitely don't hesitate to ask.

Maps.
I never really realized how helpful they were for DM tasks as well, especially for things like when it tracking distances. They haven't been too difficult to make, so I hope you're finding them valuable as well.

Just moving some ooc posts out of the action thread.Storm11 wrote:![]()
That was a great exchange, but let's try to keep the action threads free of this sort of thing, please.

He pulls five copper coins out of his pouch and throws them at frog #1.
AleBelly wrote:Sylvan tosses five copper too. "here ya go. Put down your weapons. It's a good deal for you, gents."
If you are going to pay, please make sure to deduct only the coins listed on your character sheets. (I'm looking at you, Fulp, Kassal, Sparrow, and Festus.)Storm11 wrote:Kassal will do the same. "Come Silas, pay the swamp people"
Also, and this is important, please remember to actually remove any coins used to pay from your character sheet.

I don't follow? Fulp has removed coins for everything he said he would... in this case, he doesn't have copper, so he hasn't paid anything.

I was merely pointing out, after Storm11 posted "Kassal will do the same," that Kassal technically couldn't do the same because he didn't have any copper coins. After looking at all the character sheets, I simply listed all the characters that, like Kassal, don't have copper available.

Experience points should have been updated for everyone. All updates were completed from my phone, so if your character didn't receive one, let me know.

Re: OOC I
I prefer keeping OOC comments out of the IC thread, too, when possible. But if I feel like I need to point out something mechanical or indicate a skill being used or something, I like to use the spoiler. I think it's cleaner looking in the IC post.dmw71 wrote:Spoiler.Alethan wrote: You mean with the spoiler? Or calling him "mate"?
