Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!

Huh, in that case--all aboard the rail road!
Eirik seeing his friend in danger throws all thought of subtlety and caution to the wind and charges towards the marauding Orcs!

Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
Alanis looks up from his bread to see his companion being attacked by Orcs with bags. He questions exactly what is going on right now, pondering over leaving his hiding place and helping or staying here with the bread... He thinks to himself during these trying times, "Hmmm... Those are definitely orcs with bags, weird. They seem to be going for Theodore, I wonder if he needs help... oh, there goes Eirik and Lubidious, they can probably handle this. I am so glad they have so much bread! Om nom nom, bread is good! Hmm... I wonder what will happen to them, orcs usually are pretty nasty, plus they hate bread I hear, how rude! Well..... Alright! I will go see if I am needed and if not then I will make up the excuse that I was wondering if Theodore wanted any bread! I won't be giving him any of course... My bread."
After a moment the group can see Alanis quietly get up from his hiding position, bread still in his mouth, and slowly but steadily make his way towards the woods and Theodore, he stops far enough away that he is not necessarily a threat but still able to cast spells if needed, he puts what bread he has left in his pack while still chewing the one in his mouth.

Lubidius picks something out of his grimy hair. "Money... and I aint's got to steal it none? I'm in..." He flicks the piece of, Gods knows what out onto the ground, making a grimace. "Looks like yesterday's lunch still in me hair. Hrrmm." He picks the rancid cheese back up from the ground and nibbles on it while looking over everyone else's shoulder at the sign for aid. "So.. where is this here Tragidore at? Purses to pick, peoples to charm...." Making a loogie sound with his throat; Lubidius spits on the ground. A real charmer he is. He smiles at the crew , gnarly yellow teeth, and a hole the size of a gold piece in the front.

Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
thifli wasn't exactly sure what was going on. First there was a child in the woods and the next thing he knew they were being attacked by orcs. In fact, there were only two things he was sure of right now...one, that there were some orcs that needed choppin', and two, he had an axe that was made for choppin'. Seemed like the perfect combination.
Thifli will charge from his hiding place at he edge of town and attack the orc with the bag and club.
Axe: to hit [1d20] = 11, damage = [1d8] = 8

Indeed it can 1d4+1 per missile .... at lvl 5 you have 3 missiles.....highest dmg would be 15 so damn....

Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
Gandrel (the other invisible Mr DM!), seeing that its a straight up fight now and not a 'follow the captured bait to the Big Bad' moves to get behind the orcs and knock one out. He is expecting the others to get mashed and we need one at least alive!
Can he get behind this round ? His aim is to move to the rear of the orcs then wait to trip one fleeing from the fight

Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
Alanis watches from the edge as everyone engages in the fight, he continues to eat his bread, he internally talks to himself as the action commences, "Well.. this is getting a bit worse than before... I just wanted to eat this bread... then these orcs have to come in and ruin my bread time.. MY bread time, MY BREAD, WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE?!?? COMING IN AND RUINING A PERFECTLY GOOD TIME?!??" It seems then that his internal dialogue spews out into the open, "HOW DARE THEY?!?? I WILL SHOW THEM WHY IT IS NOT NICE!!!" Alanis then throws a hand up towards the nearest orc and fires a volley of Magic Missle.
Alanis Magic Missle: [1d4+1] = 2+1 = 3, [1d4+1] = 3+1 = 4, [1d4+1] = 4+1 = 5=12

Yes a bit of a pickle indeed but being the anti Evil DM that I am I can allow everyone to alter their action if they need to.Talmor wrote:Ah, sweet. So, my attack isn't horrible then!GreyWolfVT wrote: Actually I am just seeing what the reactions are but I have not rolled for init for either side.

Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
Lubidious sighed and shook his invisible head as the situation went to hell in a handbasket in nothing flat. Moving carefully out of the way of the various combatants; he moved to a nice thick tree to hide behind while still keeping a good eye/ear on the action. His plan was to wait (and hope) for an Orc or two to break and run and then follow them back to their lair while hoping his fellow party members remembered to NOT kill them all....
Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
Neev breaks from his hiding place and charges the orc band, swinging his morning star at the nearest orc.
Attack: Morning Star: [1d20] = 6 Damage: [2d4] = 4

Re: Part 3: Welcome to Tragidore!
Alright pardon the stall on my end I've been busy moving and have not had time to do much updating or even a battle layout for this yet. But yes some orcs will be dead by a bit of overkill.
