Will be ready to go exploring again. He can go immediately (but minus his cleric spells) or the next day with a new set but obviously that puts us a day behind searching for Dredd. I think bandits will patrol the trail most days.

Rida is a fool (4 Int), he saw a clear threat momentarily (Gnoll, although he probably has no clue what it is), and they shot at him first so I think his action is entirely appropriate.
