Things have been a bit hectic lately, leading to the kind of clunky start here.

That said, I have been reflecting on the start of this game, and already have a few regrets, but we should be good moving forward.

A few quick notes:

1. As for the calendar and deities being used, I think I'm going to just lean on Greyhawk, but will likely introduce a fair bit of homebrew details.
2. This "lost cat in a cave" scenario is just that -- a very simple situation. I really need to get comfortable with running BX again so that will be my plan: to introduce a series of simple encounters or situations.
   
   
   * Get the characters some experience.
   
   * Get me some experience in the BX rules.

Expect more of the same, at least until the group reaches 2nd level.

In this game, 1 sp = 1 xp.

Can we get a sound-off from all the players? I don't have a good sense if everyone is still active.

I sort of volunteered Buzar to go in front of the group to scout ahead before the torch messed up his infravision. I don't mind him being at the front unless some other more dexterous type wants to lead on.

Holliss can go up front, too.

That's good with me. It looks like everyone is active except for Thofed, who hasn't been on the site in a month. Dave, would it make sense to move his character sheet to the Ossuary?

Ha! I guess it makes sense (now) that you guys wouldn't realize this, but I deleted his private forum last week sometime.

I've actually cleaned up the 'Character Sheet' topic so just the active players. We'll save the 'Ossuary' topic for characters that meet their demise while actually participating in the game.
