Rick, most of the people you interact with are rather contrite with you since you don't 'speak their language'.

And, from here on the rec level, is it possible to see the gill setup through any windows or other service areas where ordinary researchers would not or could not go? <I am not sure what you are trying to see or accomplish. Can you explain in more detail?>
Lastly he and TRpin will head toward security, if there are any active monitors we’d like to see what’s happening in the places where the ducts are known to be. “Let’s go, there’s nothing here apparently and we have not idea where the others are.”
If that’s on this level, great, otherwise I expect we’ll be able to get there in advance of the others.
Re: Adventure 2.0
I think this got missed as I didn't see anything from this.

Sorry I missed the last part.
I am looking for next step locations to search for evidence.

My roll for the prior investigation.
[1d100] = 33
I’ll save The Vrusk some time and tell her what Lloyd knows this far. 6 months...never on duty during an attack. And whatever the answer to what his role is, when you around to that.

It appears that the sections of vents on the rec level have no scratches. All the attacks have been on the research level. Also note, that half of the staff are off duty during these attacks as well.
Re: Adventure 2.0
If this thing is a bot, it can only act on its own according to it's programming, so far it only targets on the research deck, and only on night shift that is only if it's not being run by remote. We need to start scanning for anonymous transmissions on night shift to see if we can catch whomever is sending said signal. Plus the thing would need to recharge on the regular. Can security watch for power drain and give us a location

Security really does not monitor power operations. Everyone in security make an Intuition roll for me.
Re: Adventure 2.0
FYI, I'm still waiting for resolution on this. I'll post a new turn once I get results from my research.

He is not from this world. He hails from Inner Reach and that is where he did his university study in the field of Xenobiology. He currently works in the Xenobiology lab.mghaught wrote: ↑Wed Sep 09, 2020 12:02 am FYI, I'm still waiting for resolution on this. I'll post a new turn once I get results from my research.

Re: Adventure 2.0
Do private quarters have any video surveillance? Can we replay hallway footage outside his room? I'd want to start at the moment of the attack and work backwards to see if his door opens. After that I'd want to play it forward looking for the same thing. If the robot is invisible to cameras, I want to see if there is still door activity.
We confirmed that there's not open grates going into private rooms, right?
She'll strategize with the others. I'm thinking we need to search his quarters while he's at his shift. For that we'll need to talk to the staff here and I'd want to make sure we minimize who we discuss this with so in case this person has someone in Security on his side we don't tip him off. I'd guess the scientist that hired us fits the most trustworthy sort. It's also worth noting that he may have bugged his quarters so if we enter he'll likely be aware.

T'prin, as you are in security, you see the man who your companions were questioning has just exited the elevator on your level and is headed toward the admin office.
Re: Adventure 2.0
Guys he's on this level and is headed towards the admin offices
Re: Adventure 2.0
Set my communicator to scan local frequencies for unknown signals. Kind of like when you use the scan feature on your car radio, so that it cycles through channels funtil it hits one broadcasting.
Re: Adventure 2.0
Any cameras inside the administration offices?
Re: Adventure 2.0
Rick will head towards T-prin's level to help search.

Rick, it will take you 1 minute to get down to that level
T'prin, there are cameras in that office. You activate it and see the man at a desk talking to the man behind it. After a few seconds, the desk man gets up and goes to a storage locker behind him. He starts rummaging through it. Also, your comm scan picks up a few signals...all of which are people on the station chatting with others.
