Brutus is 10 feet in front of you and still running away, so your only attack option would be to drop your melee weapon and fire at him from a distance. Keep in mind that most of these tunnels are not laid out in a straight line needed for missile fire though.wolfpack wrote:can I attack?

Alordan follows. He wonders if they are heading back to Cora's room and if he plans to jump in the well to escape. Maybe the pools are connected and it's a way to move around. Where else would it lead to then?

Again, this was only about a half round of running movement, but this area has a long straight stretch, so I wanted to give anyone who wants to stop the chase to do something else a chance to do so.
The Chase
Starday, 20th of Goodmonth
Mid Morning, Sunny, Warm, Humid
Brutus doesn't slow down enough to be caught, attacked, or cast upon. His superior speed and knowledge of the tunnels is the only thing keeping the blinded monster from being struck down from behind by Gramble's mighty ax.
Alordan assumes the beast is trying to get into Cora's area so he can use the pool to escape to another part of the tunnels. So far the ranger seems to be correct, as Brutus appears to be heading straight for it, opening up a few more possibilities for the group doing the chasing.

could i grab my hand axe off my belt and try to slide it under his feet to slow him down or trip him up as i run

You arent close enough to try to trip him with a hand ax, but you could certainly throw it at him while still on the run.

Gramble pulls his hand ax from his belt and launches it through the air at the fleeing Bullman mid stride. The ax lodges itself in the minotaur's back, administering another injury, but also causing the beast to lurch forward and fall to the ground momentarily. By the time he is able to right himself, the group catches up to the blinded Brutus.
Actions?
This larger room will offer an attack for anyone willing to do so.

Running full speed and yelling in glee the large fighter tries to pull up for an attack but cant slow his momentum enough as he overruns the minotaur
