Tlachtga
"Help me press them towards the open cave so more of us can fight!"
Tlachtga tries to push the mass of everyone into the battle with her shield.

Aaahhh, but things are not always as they seem my friend.
It is possible that I am not figuring in full Str bonuses due to the current “tight” situation. As some of you already know, I don’t always spell out every detail in the descriptive posts since I prefer telling an exciting story to breaking down the monotony of every +/-.

Lerrick
Rex wrote:Heal Gramble with your next action.
Relax Wolfpack Lerrick knows her role in the party.
The cleric moves closer to the mangled Gramble, dodging and ducking to get around other members of the party. Once past Maag, she rushes towards Gramble and applies much needed healing to the fighter.
That's all I have Gramble. Finish him off!
CLW on Gramble for 1d8 =
[1d8] = 5

Maag
The powerful half orc shrugs Tlatchga away. "Gerrof me!"
He tries to stop her from shoving Gramble in the back. "You'll knock 'im off balance if yer barge into 'im wiv out a warnin' "

Has no useful spells and no reach weapon to attack with.
Spells are free cast and don't require preparation, except for reversed spells. You can cast another couple faerie fires, if needed.

Alordan guards the rear but can’t protect fools from dashing off into the darkness. He shuffles back to remain surely in the light.

Thanks, I didn't realize that. If I had known I would have cast locate animals when we lost Cu. Oh well.

Likely wouldn't have helped anyway due to the very limited range and duration at first level.

Might not hurt to read through the house rules thread at least once.

And Then There Were Five
Starday, 20th of Goodmonth
Mid Morning, Sunny, Warm, Humid
Suddenly down yet another party member, Alordan isn’t interested in a dark solo trip through these tunnels, so he follows the others, staying in the aura of their lights. Gramble is glad to see that the minotaur was blinded by the spellcasters behind him, suddenly finding them slightly more usefull than normal. He chops into the beast again, deliberately knocking him back into the entrance chamber, howling in pain.
Maag allows Lerrick through the tight passage, but blocks Tlachtga from smashing into the back of the fighter to push the battle mass forward. When the cleric starts her healing prayer, the twice illuminated Brutus turns around and charges blindly towards the northern tunnel, disappearing out of sight.
(I will give you the option to give chase immediately if you prefer, but that will negate the spell that Lerrick has already started. (her last one) Your choice.)
There is no sign or sound from any of the many missing members of the party.
Actions?

No attack of opportunity?

Though you are still technically in melee, pushing him backwards with your attack essentially broke the engagement needed for an AoO. Since he didn’t counter attack, he is using his action to flee. If you move forward to attack, or give chase, that movement will negate the spell that is already in progress.

Im sorry for making assumptions.
If he is going to give chase and forgo the healing, I will allow him an attack of opportunity.
Apologies for the confusion.

Alordan follows in the light - eager to put this whole thing to bed. He watches over his shoulder frequently so they aren't surprised. He will try to follow and blood trail he may find.

Lerrick
Right in the middle attempting to help the fighter...he's not there. Maag and the druid move quickly past her as well. The cleric doesn't waist any time to process what is going on and quickly follows them noticing Alordan right behind her bringing up the last of the party.

The Chase
Starday, 20th of Goodmonth
Mid Morning, Sunny, Warm, Humid
Brutus, still blinded and glowing purple, takes off up the northern tunnel with the remainder of the party on his
heels hoofs. The huge beast must know these tunnels very well, because even blind and running with his head down, he is able to stay ahead of their slowest member. Feeling along the wall with one hand, the chase leads the party around to the western side of the complex, as if the beast is rushing towards Cora's old room.
Tlachtga's magical aura around him eventually fades away, but that doesn't slow down the chase one bit. Gramble continues running after him, with the others following close behind to keep themselves in the light.
