Re: The Alchemist Lab
Outside of some small local wildlife and birds begining to settle down from the excitement of the earthquake, your hawk eyes can see no other movement around the clearing. Swooping lower you approach the circle of standing stones. They are monoliths about 12' high, probably weighing several tons each. You spy the same dwarven symbols on them as the pillars by the mine entrance. Badly smoothed by erosion.

Following the hawk and wondering how far away we will have to get before I will stop looking back and worrying. As far as the path ahead not feeling strongly about one choice being better then the other I will be fine with groups decision,.

Re: The Alchemist Lab
Craxzus spell ends and he joins the group.(?)
The trek through the woods in the dark takes about an hour. The party enters a small clearing in the thick, encircled by large standing stones. There is sufficient room for Ruken to set up his collapsible keep.

Re: The Alchemist Lab
Still weary of an attack from demons or perhaps even the local wildlife, the gnome asks the dwarves for assistance.
"Before I set up the hut, I will need to make sure it will be safe to do so. Can you all watch my back while I get the place set up, make room inside?"
Ruken turns to Eirenaios and Craxzus, saying the following, "it's been a long day and I don't feel like sorting through the hut by myself, can you lend a hand in cleaning it up?"

Thorgrim will patrol the perimeter, constantly on the alert for any sign of the demons or other danger, while the others set up camp.

Re: The Alchemist Lab
The area is made secure by the dwarven warriors and Ruken eyeballs the distances between the stones and the trees, making sure he has enough room to enlarge his collapsible keep.
Setting it up he enters the only door with Craxzus and Eirenaios following. Its a bit of a mess.
The room within is of decent size but their are bottles. vials, books, tomes, and scrolls littering the floor and 2 chests.
The three gets a bit of a second wind from the excitement of the treasures they see, but the weariness of the day still makes for heavy eye lids.
(Forgot to make the above picture at night, so it is considerably darker than the exterior pic represents.)

Re: The Alchemist Lab
The first thing that Ruken checks for, as he enters the hut with the other two, is too see if there was any apparent movement of the contents within. The running, despite the gnome's best efforts, made the small hut jostle a lot.
More specifically, he will see if any of the glassware has more cracks than usual, whether the books had slid across the floor rather than just stay stationary in a pile.
Search Check 46% [1d100] = 95 Ruken care barely keep his eyes open I guess.
If his powers of perception fail him, he will just organize everything into neat stacks and rows next to the walls and corners. He will sandwich, not tightly, but snuggly, the elixirs and the other glassware between one of the walls and the chests.
"I'll need to invest into some furniture," the gnome says as he absentmindedly rifles through his pack and pulls out his coin purse. Looking side the pouch, his heavy eyes blinks once, a look of tired indifference in his face. Pulling the drawstrings together, he then says shortly afterwards, "...may get someone to make it for cheap."

Re: The Alchemist Lab
While no form of organization was used in piling stuff into the hut, nothing appears to have moved from where it was. Even all the bottles still stand upright.
Re: The Alchemist Lab
Craxzus- grabs some books and takes a seat along the wall. He begins reading thru the books for anything of importance.

Eirenaios go inside and excitedly goes through the books quickly just to write down the titles of all the books they found.

Then he will go and sit in a comfortable spot and read his red demon summoning book and scroll.

Re: The Alchemist Lab
When Ruken finishes organizing things into semi-specific piles, he will call the other dwarves in, letting them know room has been made.
Not sure how the night watch shifts will work. All I know is that when Ruken lays his head down, he will fall asleep pretty quickly, even if it is on a hard stone floor.
(I will volunteer my character for second or third watch. If it's second, he may still be a bit drowsy.)
