I'm hitting a really busy patch over the next two weeks with travel and other stuff. Please NPC my PC as necessary if I'm holding things up. Thanks!

Oops, I last had Telkis "waiting with the others" near the ruined Foaming Mug Inn. But I now see that your intent was: like the others, he is waiting but doing so near the NW corner of the farmhouse. Sorry about that.

Telkis does hears, "Ma! Come quick! There's a stranger in the yard!" The rest was not shouted.

Moogeye heard what was described even though she's in the house because she made a 'hear noise' roll. (Great rolls, Starbeard! From now on I'll continue to roll thief skills, so the PCs don't know if they've succeeded or not. That said, I'm happy to use those amazing rolls this time. :) )

The PCs near the Foaming Mug Inn (everyone else) don't hear anything because the farmhouse is between them and the voice, plus the fog and mist is a sound dampener.

Thanks.

Oops! I thought we could hear the chopping noise from a distance.

Get yer program! You can't tell the villagers without a program!

An updated list of NPCs is here.
Names are listed chronologically, in order of when they were encountered.
Those without links are people you've heard of, but haven't met.

Hey,
This week I'm traveling for work and then next week, I'm going on vacation. I'll be back 8/22.
I don't expect to get online. Have a good two weeks of planning next steps. :)

Best,
Inferno

Have fun!!!

Bo has already stated his desire to seek out either the hermit again or the elves. He does not want anything to do with going to the church or the mayors house, thinking that someone in a position of power is most certainly behind these troubles.

If his bird returns to him, he could also have Sephus stay behind here at the Gades to see if he can spot who is tending to the animals if anyone thinks that might lead us somewhere.

Grothnak would likewise seek out the hermit or the elves. Maybe the elves first, though he remains skeptical about the wisdom of visiting anyone in daylight.

I'm back, fellows! Sorry for the delay. Mountains, spotty access, family, etc... Let's see what I missed.

That's one way to break the ice. :)

I'm away for the weekend. Have a good Labor Day everyone. I'm back on Tuesday.

Bo could try a Feign Death spell if we get really desperate for ideas.

That just made me picture Frasier Crane's geeky coworker Noel Shempsky, whose 'secret weapon' in a fight is that he can faint in command.

You make it sound like we don't have a choice. I'm voting for The Goat With 1000 Young.
