How is the man dressed? Does he look or act like someone that's been lying down? How dark is his room? Did he answer the door too quickly for someone that was 'trying to sleep'?

"Yes, we're assigned to investigating this portion of the facility."

Since we haven’t been told what’s going on down below, and we no longer have a presence in the security area as planned to monitor the facility, we’ll continue our sweep of the rev floor, watching for anyone or anything unusual.

Lloyd will look at the vents for other scratches or evidence of damage, and will see if there are any unusual emanations on the radio.

Daz, you see he is fully dressed and also notice his bunk is fully made. When you knocked on the door, he answered it in less than 10 seconds. He looks at you as you explain your presence; "Well, I wish you the best of luck, but if you will excuse me, I need to get back to sleep."

Rick replies to the fully dressed man, "There's been another killing and we need to search this floor." He will push past the man to take a look inside the room. He is wary in case the man tries anything.

Daz nodded to the man, "We do apologize for the interruption this evening. A quick sweep of your room will only take a brief moment and we'll let you get back to sleep." Assuming he allows us to proceed she'll quickly scan the room for any sign of the drips or anything that might be machine-like. She will not indicate that she's seen anything amiss. Even if further clues are discovered she'll not call them out or linger. She'll then nudge Rick to move on to the next section and leave the room.

INT 65 [1d100] = 71 Another bummer here. Hopefully she'll still notice something of use.

You scan the room and notice that other than both bunks being immaculate, you don't notice anything of interest. Each side has the usual bed, refresher, clothes storage, etc. The scientist that is home has a really intricate lamp by his bed, but that is all.

"Thank you for your cooperation. If you see anything amiss, please contact security. Good night." She'll return the hallway and motion to Rick to continue down the hallway. "Looks like the trail has gone cold." She says matter-of-factly, "Let's meet up with the others."

Once they've gotten into the elevator, she'll say in a quiet tone, "He was definitely hiding something. Did you notice his lamp at all?"

Since a considerable amount of time has now passed, Lloyd will do a few things: Lloyd will review the duty roster that their contact gave them, are there any names on it that were hired shortly before the exsanguination attacks occurred?

And, from here on the rec level, is it possible to see the gill setup through any windows or other service areas where ordinary researchers would not or could not go?

Lastly he and TRpin will head toward security, if there are any active monitors we’d like to see what’s happening in the places where the ducts are known to be. “Let’s go, there’s nothing here apparently and we have not idea where the others are.”

If that’s on this level, great, otherwise I expect we’ll be able to get there in advance of the others.

"Yeah I did," Rick replies. "Maybe he be a vampire and be needing a strange light." He says this as a joke as they are walking away.

Okay, the records review shows that the newest hire is the man you just talked to. He was brought on 6 months ago.

Well, Lloyd hasn’t talked to him, unless he was in the Rec area or in the lab where the attack happened. Maybe you mean the guy the others interviewed.

Is his workshift available? Does he change shifts at all? Do a quick query between that and the deaths. Is he ever on duty during a death event?

Daz will seek out the others and update them on what they learned. "Let's look up info on this guy. What do we know about him and his background? What does he do here? Let's also be careful not to tip our hand on what we know to the staff at this point. I don't want him to get wind that we're on to him yet."

Daz will interface with their computer systems and external data sources to find out more about the suspect. Displaying Information 100% [1d100] = 70

“If he’s the most recent person brought on, this is what we know...” ( insert the answers to the questions I asked the other day here, GM hasn’t replied back on those yet)

Lloyd will suggest that whatever this person is doing, if he’s involved at all, must need to be moved offsite. I suggest we read his mail and check his outgoing correspondence/packages for any unusual information or objects, like samples or sera. The other avenue we will want to check is how his space might communicate with other areas or to the outside (ducts, conduits, etc)

He works the day shift only. He is off duty during the attacks.

Rick will spend a little time trying to socialize with station personnel. He wants to know if anything about the station or anyone in it seems off somehow to them. Besides the murders, what else has changed. He'd like to ask about the guy that we talked to but does not want to be obvious about it.
