Andronichishche
Andronichishche barely suppresses an involuntary chuckle. Gramble was certainly no intellectual and most definitely prefers the ... direct ... approach, but with this comes a distinct brand of common sense that cuts through the fat to the issue at hand. "Quite so, Mr. Gramble ... and hopefully with it the means to restore Sir Crestbrook!"

Lerrick
The cleric walks along with the party listening to the back-and-forth conversation about the dais...and then Gramble's comment.
The cleric smiles, then laughs out loud. Well said Gramble

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Oops. Had a lapsus there. I meant Carucenus is moving to the second position, behind Gramble.
The fighting man doesn't want to add anything to the discussion at first. He's thinking on the loot, but, some he hasn't contributed anything to the groups survival, he thinks it'll be out of place insisting on it. "I'm not fond of this place, but investigating about where the minotaurs you mentioned come from sounds interesting... I'll also get busy burying Sister Theresa first chance I have. But, like I said, that's my own thing." He finally adds, not wanting to drag any of the rest in his own endeavors.

One More Excursion
Starday, 20th of Goodmonth
Early Morning, Sunny, Warm, Humid
The party lines up again and readies their weapons, discussing the many options ahead of them regarding the mystery of the dais and its reappearing minotaur.
In his now signature style, Gramble reminds the chatty bunch of their real purpose for returning to this island a third time. The treasure.
The path ahead leading into the jungle still appears clear of danger.
Actions?
Lots of talking, but not much walking.

Carucenus "Yeah. Let's get moving." says the stern looking warrior, his gaze fixated on their surroundings.

Maag
Maag retrieves the three bamboo poles from the boat. He hands one to Gramble and keeps one for himself. He gives the third one to whoever volunteers to take it.

Alordan readies his sword with his eyes sweeping the trees - for trees. Killer trees. He listens for the imminent bull-rush of a blood thirsty minotaur.

Andronichishche
Andronichishche accepts the proffered bamboo pole from Maag. "Thank you, Mr. Maag." He then retrieves the glow stone he stowed in his belt pouch. If the stone is still lit he'll attempt to wedge it into one end of the pole, using his dagger to score the fibers to increase the flexibility if necessary. When this is completed he falls into line and follows Alordan onto the jungle trail.

Lerrick
Seeing Andron pull the glow stone out of his pocket reminds her that she too has one. She positions her self a couple party members away from Andron so that when they reach the cave that the light emitted from both stones provides enough light for everyone to see.

One More Excursion
Starday, 20th of Goodmonth
Early Morning, Sunny, Warm, Humid
The crafty Andronichishche takes the long pole from Maag, cutting slices in its end where he plugs in his glow stone he found in the medusa room just before he was nearly crushed to death. Seeing his new 10' flashlight, Lerrick moves up behind Gramble and produces her own handy light source to illuminate the way.
The trip through the jungle goes by quickly and with no interruptions, eventually leading the party back into the ring of standing stones where they found the cave entrance. There is no minotaur in sight, but Alordan does spot more of the little three-toed kobold tracks covering the ground at the entrance to the stone ring.
Once inside the clearing of stone, Lerrick no longer sees the decapitated head of the monster they killed on the ground where she left it. Everything else appears the same as the day before.

Andronichishche
Andronichishche steps around the area next to the stone lintel, his brow furrowed in thought. He points the lit end of his bamboo pole at the kobold tracks, then toward the spot Lerrick had left the sack with Marquees's head. "Mr. Alordan, do you see any fresh tracks inside the circle? Something took the sack, and based on their reception of Lerrick's presentation yesterday, it was likely not the kobolds."
Andron moves to the northern wall of the stone circle to get a better vantage of the ledge above the cave entrance. "Mr. Gramble?" He raises his voice slightly to cover the distance. "You also dispatched one of them, if I recall correct? Do you remember where? Has the body been taken?"

Sorry!
Failing memory! The two halves of yesterday’s kobold are also missing from the scene.

Alordan looks around for any tracks - especially ones that are leading into or out of the cave.

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Andronichishche scans the area where Gramble points to and nods slowly, then gestures with the pole at the cave entrance. "We know Brutus ... the minotaur, if Cora was correct ... has no aversion to eating raw flesh." Andron peers carefully at the ledge above the entrance. "The likely culprit then, is Brutus. If he did take the head then perhaps he'll be in a more cordial mood; or at least not bloodthirsty violent. I imagine he did not have an amicable relationship with Marquees ..."
"He may be receptive to dialogue if he knows we were responsible for Marquees's demise."

Lerrick
See that that the sack containing Brutus's head is not there anymore the cleric sighs in disappointment. I'm sorry Andron. I should have kept it. She then turns to Maag an asks to borrow one of the poles to put the glow rock on, exactly the way Andron attached his rock.

Andronichishche
Andronichishche absently dismisses Lerrick's apology with a slight wave of his free hand, his attention still fixed upon the ledge. "You had no reason to keep it aside as a grisly trophy. I wanted to ... ahem ... remove one of the eyes to see if it fits an indentation in the tiny box. I initially assumed Melania gave him a liquid to consume. Now I believe she gave him the eyes of a maedar ..."
He nonchalantly shrugs and continues, "We might have found a buyer for them, as we still have the box to preserve them in. I imagine they're quite rare. I also agree with Mr. Gramble. After we're finished here let's ensure that Marquees remains dead. At least two others had found it difficult to stay dead in this place ..."
