General/OOC
Re: General/OOC
That sounds like a plan.
Re: General/OOC
Sorry, have been taking a break this week. Yes, I am fine jumping to the scene start.
Damian is making 8 cubic meters of c4 explosives (That's roughly 5-6 pallets full) with a spell slot.
I warn them that they only have two hours before it degrades. That leaves me with 3 of 4 spell slots for the actual adventure, which is enough for some creative fun.
I would like to play around with modding gear for the group, but the credit cost is prohibitive. If we're literally going into war, it seems the time for those investments, if you will allow it. Is it possible for PCs to make requests for upgrades and have the army here provide us the spare parts needed to make them? I can maintain 4 mods at the current level, so could potentially do one per PC. I have Fix 1, so level 1 requests. Faanku, is that okay?

Re: General/OOC
If you have the creds then the Loyalists have the facilities and parts you'll need.
Re: General/OOC
All mod costs look to be in thousands of creds, and we aren't close to that level of liquidity. So, we'll skip if for now.

Re: General/OOC
On the bright side, if you get back home safely to Mejo you're up at least 50k!
Re: General/OOC
Sorry everyone for being away. For a little bit there I was suffering from Covid Burnout (amazingly a real thing for frontliners) and then I guess my resistance was done and I was out a good part of last week with a bad case of the seasonal cold. I am thankfully back and in better spirits. Jumping ahead sounds good to me.
Re: General/OOC
OK, seems unanimous. I'll update this weekend when I have more time.
Re: General/OOC
Do you have a portrait for Romer that I can use for his token, or would you prefer me to use a placeholder?greyarea wrote:

I don’t have a portrait. I can find something but until then feel free to use a placeholder.
Re: General/OOC
Who am I to say no to a natural 20? We can assume that Damian is fast enough to pop her transmitter before the alarm is raised.
Code: Select all
8 Silas
4 Damian
3 HF Soldier
Re: General/OOC
OK, final initiatives are:You all beat the soldier, so go ahead and take your turns if you haven't already.
Code: Select all
8 Silas
7 Romer
7 Benedict
4 Damian
3 HF Soldier
Re: General/OOC
Ugh, my rolls have been so bad in this game, they should change the name to Dice without Numbers.

Re: General/OOC
Haha, look on the bright side, you could have been the soldier with 1HP who who lost initiative to a hero with Gunslinger 2

Re: General/OOC
If you try the same Subvert a System hack to take control of all the facility's security doors, then yes. If you tried to do something else, say shut down all security cameras with a Suppress a System hack, then the DC would be Base 8, +1 for Minor Government system, +1 for 1 previous hack attempt in the past 24 hours.
The tables are on page 55 if you want to look them over.
Re: General/OOC
I'll move this along tomorrow under the assumption that you're opening the door with the dead soldier's bio ID, unless there are any objections. Will likely lead to more combat.
Re: General/OOC
Silas and Damian's combined assault will drop the first guard, the one behind the desk passed his Morale check so will take a turn unless Benedict can disable him.
Re: General/OOC
I'm assuming I can somehow get a shot in at the guy behind the desk, either by standing up and looking over or walking around - if not, I guess I'll just hide.
Re: General/OOC
Yeah you can shoot at him but he's almost blind firing from behind the desk, so you take a -4 penalty to hit him (nearly full cover).
