Thanks, I was trying to see how the other thread might wind down before I posted too much here and then sort of got sidetracked.
Jason gets up and tried to recover from the night before, making coffee and reviewing his emails, Screecher, taking his screen time to get up to speed but after the second, or third. Ok fourth! donut he begins to notice the HQ seems a bit empty, so he wanders around eventually finding the group outside "Are they looking down a manhole"
Hey guys, whats up? Please tell me there aren't alligators in the sewers here too.

Sam is going to follow down the tunnel.
He hollers after the shuffling man, “Howdy...I just want to introduce myself and see if I can get you anything you need!”
Sam takes a few pieces of his trash and tosses it on the sewer floor to mark the spot he entered from. The rest jangles as he hurries through the sewer.

OOC: Sam is going to keep after the figure in the sewer and will continue to litter to mark a path every so often...the bag of trash isn’t that big so it is only going to get him so far.
Re: The Firehouse - Home Sweet Home 2
Jason takes a drink of his coffee, and looks at the guys, there are a few people out waking their dogs or exercising. Morning, he waves, nothing unusual here, every day ghost busting, no need for concern, As he walks closer to the rest and lowers his voice, Right? Whats going on? Should I just call the ambulance now to be one stand-by orrrr? he stretches the last word out.

Hrothgar
Hrothgar yawns, stretches his front and back legs as far as they will go in opposite directions, then curls up again and resumes his nap.

Joker
I mean not disrespect to our new colleague, but following the vagrant was a stupid idea. I was willing to try and make contact- but vagrants are like stray dogs. If you pursue, they will run. Now that Sam has gone down there, I am staying here in case he shouts for assistance.

Sam passes more than a couple of intersections, all of them going in 4 ways. You can roll a hard cool to see if you can figure out anything about which way he might have gone or your surroundings in general. It is wet, the rain running into the cramped space, and under your feet, there is the rumble of the storm outside as well as passing traffic over the road off to your right. The flashlight on your phone keeps it from being completely hopelessly dark but is not 100% effective.

Roy shakes his head "This new guy man goes off in the sewers chasing a homeless bloke, he's something else now isn't he?"

Re: The Firehouse - Home Sweet Home 2
Nice roll!
First you notice that there are markings scratched into the concrete at each corner of each intersection. There are arrows pointing, indicating which direction. Arrows pointing right say things like "Mall" or "Rogers" or "Jenny Lind". East say "RR" and "Creek" and "River." South "T W." North "DT & LT"
You then notice much further in the distance the brief flash of a faded red jacket in one of the pools of light a good 100 feet ahead of you.
Also, the rain seems to be picking up and the water at your feet... is rising slightly.

Joker
A friend of mine at MIT would call him "colorful". He has his GB phone, but I doubt it will connect underground.
Despite his doubts, Joker pecks out a quick text message:
Sam- are you OK?
