This week I am working on my final project for my class. This is usually the time that I say I will not be on much, but then again, last time I said this about 7 or 8 weeks ago, I was on as much if not more... So we will see I suppose Either way, feel free to NPC me as needed in case I am not able to make it on to post in a timely manner, otherwise completely disregard this post Wish me luck, this one is a doozy... and my inner Sheldon Cooper is giving me hell about getting it right since it is one of those classes where despite having a A so far, the final project is designed to make or break you. UGH!

Well, baring seeing something posted in the discussion forums that requires a drastic change, I am turned in and now just waiting on 2 weeks worth of grading to catch up and tell me how I have done. Advanced Methods for Teaching for the Moderately to Severely Disabled was not an easy class and I am glad to have it over! I am doubling up over the summer since I will be at work less, and until then I am going to enjoy having no more classes other than teaching for the rest of May!

Yup I got hired on at home but it was for Special Ed instead of English but I was ready to be out of Little Rock and ditch the 3-hour commute. I have really enjoyed this new job. It was a change I didn't know I needed. I was going to have to take 7 classes to get the credential but it would be out of my own pocket. Instead I agreed to take the Masters Degree option with 12 classes instead and get state and federal aid to get the pay boost on top of it.

That _DOES_ sound like a tough class, BH. I worked (part of) one summer as a counselor at a summer camp for disabled kids once- I quickly discovered how far in over my head I was!
I'm glad there are folks like you who have the drive to do these things.

I will be departing tomorrow morning for a 12 day Fire Fighting ordeal in the East. They are suffering from a Draught condition with no rain in sight. Staging out of Kinston but will be all over Eastern North Carolina to where ever the fires are.. Watch for the Yellow Forest Service Huey. Posting will be limited during the day. Will try and catch up each night, when I am not dead tired.

Starting Tuesday the 8th through the 20th I will be on a real tropical island searching for hidden obelisks. An evil necromancer will be monitoring my actions and has said (evilly) "no screens," so it is uncertain if I will manage to post during that time. If not, please feel free to scoot the action along, assigning only wise and circumspect actions to Chauncey. You know, like he normally would act.
