Pheras "hmm well no our Ranger is pretty badly wounded I'm just a lowly mage that thought he saw something in the woods other than what we just fought."

Krakus- Hands the ranger some of his healing salve. Pheras here use this it will heal some of your wounds.

Pheras uses the salve on any bite wounds from the wolf.
Canis also uses some salve on any injury he has.
The party takes time to clear the battle scene, heal their wounds as best they can then plans to survey the woods nearby to see if Pheras was correct in thinking they were being watched from the woods. Reaching the woods Arastor does notice there are more tracks than just the ones of the wolves and the werewolves there appear to be boot prints in the forest and they are relatively fresh within the last hour someone or someones were standing in these woods watching the town and in the dark none the less. They do not appear to head in the same direction as the animal tracks as you can see the wolf tracks circled around to attack you on two fronts where as these new boot prints head deeper into the forest and it appears there is multiple sets it is suspected to be at least 6 sets of prints, possibly human or at least something that would wear leather boots.
Actions?
Time is still night/early morning you have about 4 hours until sunrise it's roughly 2am. There is a mild chill in the air and a fog begins to roll in through the forest. You are still not very far from the town you can still make out some lamp lights where they are placed at the edges of town.

"Anyone that was damaged by either werewolf should be watched for a couple days. My concern is that they may be infected now. Bandir thinks a bit to see if he remembers any information pertaining to Lycanthropes. (Ancient History Check)
Ancient History Skill check [1d20-1] = 14-1 = 13 1-15 = success unmodified
If successful he relays what he knows about them and how to cure them potentially.

Krakus- Follows the ranger. With his Axe at the ready he keeps a watch out for any danger. Should we rest or proceed it is only few hours till dawn.

Bandir gives an ah ha verbal queue and says, "I think I have it. What we're dealing with is something called a wolfwere. It took me a while to figure it out. Be watchful of the opposite sex as that would be the lure to a trap. The tend to prefer wolf form and be very similar to a dire wolf. They are evil to be sure but very charismatic so keep your guard up. IF we still need to heal I suggest we rest and then track these creatures down.

Matias adds in, "Yes, I am out of healing. If we must rest to recover, then I suggest we do so."

Canis starts to scout a bit disappearing into the shadows the party cannot see him until moments later "I did a quick perimeter check and it looks clear other than the tracks. Are we to camp here or go back to our rooms?"
Pheras proposes "I think we aught to head back and rest in our local rooms better shelter you know and I could use the time to rest and study my spells."

Bandir says, "Just remember where the tracks were and where you might think they lead to. We'll head back to our rooms and rest a bit. If we can let's rest until midday and then get a midday meal then go searching. Will this give enough time? 6 hrs rest and an hour or so to memorize spells then have lunch?"

Pheras thinks briefly "Oh my no I'll require more time to memorize any spells that might actually aid us against foes like these. At least another two hours more than that about eight hours total."

Krakus- Moves back towards the village. Comes lets be off the we get to the inn and rest your required time the sooner we can be off tomorrow. Those of us that do not cast spells should keep watch till daybreak at least.

Bandir point out, "The longer we rest the shorter amount of daylight we will have to search unless we rest until the next morning 24 hours before we start out. Some of us may not see so well in the dark. Such as you humans."

Pheras "It is fine with me however if you want me to be of more use it'd be better if I could have spells at my use rather than my staff and sling."
Canis shrugs "It matters not to me a man of my nature can get by in the darkness. It is after all the time we work best after all." the rogue smiles somewhat creepily.

Banidr add, "Let's rest and get our spells organized. We can start tracking tomorrow after we rest and memorize/pray for our spells. We'll track until we have enough time to get back to town before sundown unless we are very close to their lair. We can decide then what best to do."

Krakus- I would expect there woud be another attack the village. You spel casters should spend the day resting. When night falls there may be no sleep. He begins moving back towards the village.

Does Bandir know if his armor spell is still active?
If not he memorizes Armor and MM.
If it is he memorizes 2xMM.

Well the battle only lasted a short amount of time then the trek in the forest for a bit I'd think the spell has a couple hours left on it.

Krakus- My friends you rest I will keep watch till dawn. He closes the door to the house and sits a chair against the front of it.
