The party finishes out the night in the shelter of the cave entrance, surrounded by the massive reeking corpses of their slain arachnid foes. The rains continue on at full strength past dawn, when the party stirs and prepares itself for the next day.

Please deduct one day's rations each. Lars is now as safe to travel with as he will get. Spells can be re-memorized.

Orrin looks pleased that Lars is doing somewhat better. He nudges a spider corpse with the toe of his boot.

"Let's go down the hole and see what the brutes were guarding. Maybe the rain will have stopped by the time we're done."

Lug looks around the tunnel walls and ceiling for secret doors. Assuming he sees none, he'll tie a rope around Orrin and lower him down the hole to see what's there.
