Gyb

Gyb raises his hand to acknowledge the troll and returns the nod. Then he jogs off toward the cave (B) entrance.

Bugs

Bugs raises himself to his full height and slicks back his blue hair. "Don't worry, I'm here. Let me get you out of those chains. Eh, what's your name, miss?"

He moves to examine the chains and determine how to get her out while trying to maintain eye contact. "Treasure and rescuing damsels in distress. Now this is an adventure!"

Magdal

Takes a good look at the prisoner, not believing her to truly be one. She pays particular attention the woman's wrists. She thinks this is the woman who's bedroom they were just in so she keeps her weapon ready.

Loyn-dwarf fighter

Loyn quietly says, “Be safe, not all may be as it seems. Come on Cobb, let’s keep following the way on my shield map. I hear voices coming from beyond this corridor, hopefully it’s friend and not foe.” He walks along side the wall with his axe readied.

Crobeus - Human Paladin

"Bugs, this woman is currently safe, even if a prisoner. Our friends may be fighting for their lives. We can come back for her after we deal with the bandits." The paladin does not believe the woman to actually be a prisoner but does not wish to broadcast that doubt to her.

Meinhardt


Meinhardt stands at attention while the others arrange themselves, keenly aware of how Catbird ambushed them from behind.

Bugs

Having only one action between postings, Bugs may feel pulled to bail on the scantily clad maybe false prisoner who's into bondage play, but he sticks with his action.

Reunited?
Early Afternoon, Clear

Gyb is glad to see the apparently somewhat intelligent Troll below him disappear into the copse of trees on the other side of the ravine. He rushes along the ledge towards the other cave mouth, stopping to check on the progress of Stobart and Haldric, currently tending to the fallen Ranger Keya. They both seem unsure about how to actually treat their unconscious patient.

Pimlan is cut free next, while Rida and Renna tend to Crabgrass and his newest wound. Dredd hears Renna mention where their gear was stored, so he quickly rushes to the pile to arm himself again. Meinhardt stays put in the entrance for now, knowing full well the trickery of this groups leader. He thinks he hears the sound of breaking glass at the end of the hallway where Catbird ran off to.

The attractive semiconscious prisoner in chains doesn't respond to Bugs after he puffs out his little blue chest in hopes of finally becoming a real hero by saving this damsel in distress. He can see that the rusting iron chains and shackles are quite real, though he could likely pick them open if given some time and a little better light. Crobeus and Magdal seem unconvinced by this situation, the Paladin urging the painted gnome to leave the woman be for now. Magdal feels something under her boot before she steps into the alcove behind Bugs. When she looks at the floor, she finds a single pearl earring apparently discarded there. Looking at it closely, she sees a bit of blood on the post. Stepping into the alcove entry to inspect this woman better, she doesn't see anything strange with the prisoners wrists, but she does indeed seem to be missing one of her earings, while a tiny trickle of blood runs down the bare ear, dripping onto her delicate neck.

After a faint sound of glass breaking, Loyn and Cobb continue towards the sound of their friends voices, traversing a short jog in the passageway before continuing to the east. They stop at the next 4-way intersection to find a sturdy looking iron bound wooden door that looks tightly closed across the way. Looking towards the south, they notice torchlight and find a pack of their friends in a chamber beyond the end of their sloped hallway. Thankfully, there doesn't seem to be anymore fighting coming from that direction.

With no magic Stobart does his best to stop the bleeding and bind Keya's wounds with whatever he can make bandages from.

Meinhardt


Meinhardt moves into the main room to join the others. "I heard what sounded like glass breaking. That way ..." He gestures to the tunnel Catbird fled into.

Dredd

Upon retrieving his gear, he promptly walks over to the bandit, Nathan, and rams his spear in the young man's throat. "Need to make sure," he growls, twisting the spear before jerking it free.
He then turns his reddish eyes upon Renna, remembering what he promised Pim he would do to her if he was ever free again. The spear appears a bit heavier in his hand, and he takes a couple of deep breaths, before looking in on Crabgrass.
"Anything we can do to help him?"

Rida

Rida moves in the direction that Meinhardt points.

Magdal

Magdal pockets the earring for now, "Come on Bugs, there are more important fish to fry. You can come back and play hero later on."

Bugs

"Whatcha find there, Magdal?" Bugs inquires. "Those chains are real and locked, I can open them with some time and better light."

"Are we really going to leave her? I guess it makes sense to find the others first..." He looks to the Paladin and the Ranger for reassurance that he's doing the right thing while reluctantly backing away from yet another cool thing.

Now if we find a pile of magic items, Bugs isn't going to be dissuaded a third time.

Gyb

Gyb looks at Stobart and Haldric. "Stopping the bleeding is what we do first. You have done that? Or then Gyb will help you?"

"Then Gyb will grab this shoulder, Stobart should grab the other and Hobart must take the feet. To the cave we should go, but not inside for safety first. What's in there we don't know yet".

Meinhardt


He quickly retrieves his weapons and follows Rida.

Loyn-Dwarf Fighter

He measures up the door, “We’ll come back to that.I’m thinking nothing good is in there!” He looks up and sees non bandits, quietly he says, “Moradin, thank thee, there’s more friends!” He waves at them, then says,“Cobb lower the torch, but not too low, could’ve been an oil flask that was shattered. He looks at the walls for any odd areas and and if there’s any pungent smell of oil. If it’s ok, he’ll head toward the familiar faces.

Renna

"I have used all my magic for the day, perhaps it would be best for us to collect Crabgrass exit while we can or Dredd would like to run me through."

Renna collects her dagger and waits to move out based on the reply from the other two.

Dredd gives a toothy smile. "It's very tempting, and I am known to keep my promises."
He looks around at the others from their large traveling group who are trickling into the room. "Another time."

Crobeus - Human Paladin

As they move to catch up with Cobb and Loyn, the Paladin questions their prisoner. "Who is that woman, and why is she chained like that behind a curtain?" He is fully expecting the bandit to lie. He wants to see if the bandit tries urging us toward or away from the woman.
