Knowing that Gurung is more than capable of dealing with any melee combat, Marvin avoids shooting into the fight. "Appleton! Drag him out of there they have the range sighted in! We need to keep moving!"

He moves to help drag Ziering closer to the invisible talent.

Flores Point near Tanapag on the North West Coast of the island of Saipan; 12:45 PM, 6 July, 1944

A phase of the battle between the Allied Marines and Talents of SST 4 and a section of the Imperial Japanese Army near Flores Point on the island of Saipan was coming to a close....

The Japanse Talent who could generate and Invisibility 'Bubble'; dropped the two halves of his Type 100 SMG and started to pull a grenade, but before he could arm it, the purple glowing Khukri blade of the Gurkha Talent name Gurung sliced him nearly in half and he dropped to the ground, twitching for a few moments before never moving again.....

Near by, Major Acme yelled for the Marine Radioman named Appleton to pick up the badly wounded Marine named Ziering and to move him as a Japanese 'Knee Mortar' solider had them zeroed in. The PFC did so and sure enough, just as the trio managed to vacate the area, the screaming sound of another mortar-grenade grew in their ears and then exploded where they had just been standing.....

Frank Queen rose to his feet with a cruse and he leveled his modified Lewis Gun and activated his 'Hyper Dex' Talent Power and he sent a burst of a .30-06 rounds down-range and smashed the IJA knee-mortar trooper to pieces. That done, he moved quickly over to the badly wounded Ziering and called on his other Talent Power of Healing Others and he managed to keep the young Marine PFC alive.....

SST 4 Team members Rocker, Tucker and Rabinowitz came over a minute or so later, seeing the battle seemed to have crept into a brief 'pause' mode as they all gathered together, seeing Queen finish up healing the unconscious, but breathing PFC Ziering. Saul just lifted his wounded arm up and Queen utilized his Power gain and Saul's wounds closed over (he's non longer wounded).

Then, a grating sound could be heard from the hangar bay the IJA team had taken over and they could see that a weird, armored-over Seaplane was being moved down to the water, clearly to be launched soon.....

Gurung

How close is Gurung to the plane?

The same question for Saul. If it looks like he can run to it and not get shot to pieces on the way, he'll try to use his super strength on it.

OOC: Apologies, you guys are about 100 yards from the hangar and ramp to the water

Saul activates his camouflage strength talents and sprints behind Gurung toward the plane. Gurung! I'm gonna try to disable it! Even an aileron or tail elevator should do the trick!

Can he activate his camouflage talent, or is it too soon after the last use? If he can, can he use his super strength talent simultaneously?

Flores Point near Tanapag on the North West Coast of the island of Saipan; 12:50 PM, 6 July, 1944

The members of SST 4 and the surviving Marines with them moved to engage the last of the IJA troops and Unit 781 Talents that had re-taken Flores point and who were now moving a Talent modified Seaplane out of a Hangar and into the Pacific Ocean.....

Rifleman Gurung and a now Camoflauged Saul Rabinowitz raced out ahead of the others towards the Hangar where a half dozen IJA troops and one clearly Talent Powered Trooper who currently stood about 8 feet tall and was heavily muscled and doing the Lion's share of shoving the massive, now overly- armored Flying Boat down the ramp and into the ocean.....

The two members of SST 4 were now about 50 yards from the Japanese soliders as the plane hit the water with a big splash and the 4 engines kicked on. Out to sea they could see the silhouette of the massive Battleship USS Iowa perhaps a mile off the coast.....which CLEARLY would be the target of the Talent modified and flown plane.....

Behind them, Major ACME turned to Appleton and the unconscious-but-alive Ziering and said, "See if you can raise that ship on the horn, tell them they're about to have a massive, Talent flown Seaplane attacking them", "AYE-AYE Skipper!" the young Marine radioman said and Acme then looked over at Roker, Tucker and Queen. "Well, let's not let those two have ALL the fun, shall we?", the veteran said as he led them on an impromptu charge towards the Japanese troops/Supers some 80ish yards away.....

Gurung

If he can reach the plane he tries for it, if not he goes for the massive Talent.

Seeing the plane leaving nd checking the wind and the angle of light and speed of the target.

*Maybe I can slow it down.*

Elias drops into a kneeling position with his left elbow on the knee and sights and watches the progression of the plane and looks to see
if he has a shot on the pilot. Given the angle of change or armor.

*It was a lot easier when it was moving slower and no armor*

If he thinks he has a shot, he will take it using a luck point.

If not he will turn and scan the enemy and fire at one with a knee motar first and auto weapons second without a luck point.

Elias Tucker

Saul says, loud enough to hear but not yelling, Gurung, keep the Talent busy, I'll go for the plane. He dashes camouflaged the 50 yards to the plane, aiming to grab a control surface-- an aileron, an elevator, the rudder-- and use his strength talent to yank it off.

He races forward with the others, When he gets within throwing range, he'll toss a grenade at an engine.
