Chapter 5: Harvest of Death

Trist

Trist comments away from the gnolls or after they've been dealt with, "Here I'll cast detect magic on the stuff to see if any of it's magical."

Trist casts detect magic on any items the group adds to the gnolls weapons.

Weston

"I doubt I will be of much use interrogating such creatures. However, I can keep a lookout while you do, and also try and find some stones for my sling"

Egon

"What did he say?"

Xlore

The High Elf raises an eyebrow at the what the Gnoll just said. Turning back to the group Xlore translates what the Gnoll had just said "He's not saying anything, basically saying the Queen has put a price on our heads. Either we side with her or flee these lands." Pausing for a moment Xlore continues "I'll try to press the Gnoll further and see if I can pry anything.. I might have an idea!" The High Elf quickly digs into his backpack.

Producing a ration from his backpack, Xlore turns to the captured Gnoll presenting him the ration. "If I give this to you, would you be more willing to give me more information on the Queen's hideout?" said the High Elf in Gnoll speak.

Egon

"The goblins told us that already, like it is supposed to scare me."

Trist

Trist grabs the battle axe that radiates magic and say,”This one radiates magic my friends. She holds out for someone to take.”

Xlore

Looking at Egon "Most likely, if we can't get anything else out of these Gnolls we may have to execute them and move on."

Delsenora

"Great idea Trist and nice find, if no one uses that weapon we can add it to the community treasure collection."

[Rex]

Egon

"I can use a Battle Axe and could give my magic Scimitar to someone else if no one can use the magic Battle Axe. Can I look it over Trist?"

If Trist lets him look it over, does it look Dwarven made? Can he tell anything about it?

Xlore

Looking at Egon "Most likely, if we can't get anything else out of these Gnolls we may have to execute them and move on."

The gnolls ignore the offered ration "Do your worst. She will kill us and our entire pack."

Trist

Trist hands Egon the battle axe, “Here you go.”

Egon

"Thanks Trist. Can anyone use the Scimitar?"

Egon examines the Axe.

Xlore

With a grim look on his face the High Elf nods "So be it." said Xlore in Gnoll speak. Putting his ration away Xlore turns to his companions "I don't think our captives are willing to give up any information, this Gnoll says they are good as dead. If anyone else has a different suggestion, I say we should execute them and try to find the Queen's hideout on our own. What do you say?"

Delsenora

"Sadly that is the choice they have made." says with any of the normal jump in her step.

Trist

Trist adds, “There seem to be no other choice.”

[Rex]

Egon

Egon will execute the gnolls.

Unless Therick or Weston have any reason to prevent it the dwarf Ego spits in his hands takes up the battle new battle axe and takes a strong swing at each of the remaining gnolls ending their lives by beheading them each. None of the gnolls protest, or even attempt escape, they if anything appear to be bravely accepting their fates. (this is conditional result, can edit if Weston or Therick post anything as a reason to stop this from happening.)

Weston has no issue with executing the gnoll bandits

Shaking his head in dismay as the Gnolls are executed, Xlore turns around and stares up at the sky to gain composure then turns back to his companions. "Truly madness to accept death willingly than to face the Queen herself. Maybe she is even more sinister as we thought?"

Egon

"Probably, everyone is literally scared to death of her."
