Akhilleus

The warrior statrs equipping himself with his weapons. When he hears what Valkrina says to the former guard, now prisoner, he says: "Onja? I've heard that name before... Yes, that's it. The men who captured me. They mentioned something about capturing more men to join her ranks. That included me and the others who were there..."

Xenos looks at the newcomer

"I am Xenos. How many enemy do you think there are, and how many like you who might help us? We have a little while longer before the spell wears off of this one. If he can provide us with no more useful information that you can then there is no point in keeping him alive, he will just be a burden"

Akhilleus

Akhilleus makes an effort to remember. "We weren't many... we were in chains. Hm... There were at least two of them."

"Shall we deal with this one then go up the trail after the two we seen earlier."

So do we push this one held by the spell into the well?

Euripides Nereos

I'm Euripides, the Atlantean purloiner tells the former prisoner by way of introduction. Pulling his broadsword, he plunges it into the belly of their bespelled captive.

Drest

Seeing Euripides act, Drest attempts to finish the prisoner as well.

Short Sword [1d20]=19 to hit [1d6+1]=6+1=7 damage

If back stab applies he gets +4 to hit and double damage.

The Newcomer
Late Morning, Cloudy, Cool

In the precious few waning seconds of Xenos' magic, the quasi thieves in the party deal with the unconscious huntsman in a rather gruesome manner, welcoming the newcomer with a bloody hello. Xenos and Euripides offer the stranger their names, but the others aren't quite as formal, still leery after their meeting with the crazed man on the beach.

The extra weapons are gathered while Val contemplates putting the dead bodies into the well to hide the evidence. Please make sure to note any changes in your inventory (and encumbrance) on your sheets!

Once Akhilleus has donned his arms and armor again, the group looks to the wide trail leading away from this clearing, wondering if that is their next avenue of exploration.

Akhilleus

Akhilleus introduces himself and takes third position on the marching other.

Is there any reason why one of the characters with the lower HP and AC is in the first position?

Drest

Whispering, "Lets dump the body."

Xenos

"Agreed, let's dump the bodies out of sight somewhere."

He also offers to take Apollonius's position in the marching order.

I think we decided that order when Apollonius had more hp than the ones at the back

Thought I posted the other day. Apologies!

Apollonius Triton

The banged up Atlantean says nothing as his party butchers the bespelled man, but he wears a pensive frown as he drops back to the middle of the party.

As a scout, Drest should probably be point at the moment.

Hello Akhilleus Good Bye Hakon
Late Morning, Cloudy, Cool

The two bodies are dumped into the well. They sink quickly, almost as if the water was sucking them down. Few bubbles surface once they are completely out of sight.

Hakon suddenly speaks up after a long silence. "I just had a great idea. I need to go back to that crazy man on the beach. I will catch back up with you as soon as I can! Don't wait for me!" With that, the odd runegraver disappears back into the foliage and is gone.

The trail leading out of this clearing is wide enough for small carts to pass, allowing the group to march two abreast if they prefer. There is no sound or any other indications as to what they might find up ahead.

Actions?

positions:
Lets see if we can get this figured out on the fly.

Drest AC:7 5/7
Valkrina AC:6 8/8 1/1
Akhilleus AC:4 11/11
Apollonius AC:8 3/5 2/2
Euripides AC:5 7/7 2/2
Xenos AC:5 7/9 0/2

Valkrina

Thinks on her suspicions of the cannibal cult. That a tribe of jungle natives might resort to such is not so strange if meat is rare, but those robed men and the two carrying Akhilleus were at least 'civilized' once.

"We should plan what to do if we meet those men. Not sure we can just kill one after another successfully. We need to agree a strategy to get off the island. So find a boat and resources."

She walks up the trail contemplating reactions.

Akhilleus

The warrior advances to the front. "Unfortunately, I can't tell how many of them there were. I think they were two... And they were Vikings, if that helps. I can't recall more than that, and that there were several prisoners in chains, like I said. Including me. Some of them died trying to escape. I almost did it. If those prisoner haven't been manipulated with that poison, we still have a chance of gaining them to our side."

After seeing the current stats, I think it's better if I take the front row, if that's fine with everyone.

Euripides Nereos

After helping dump the bodies in the well, Euripides follows along with the group. As we get close to their camp, we should sneak closer.
