Lerrick looks for a nearby tree to climb to scout out the area. She pays particular attention to any living creatures in the tree and makes sure she doesn't climb a tree near any killer trees.

Tlachtga will stand watch near Lerrick in case she needs help.

Carucenus looks around, specially at the trees, triying to assess if they're any good for building up anything. "I'm all for setting up a camp. As of to setting watch, I'll do the first one it that suits you. But, we have to get out it this place. Maybe buying ourselves a raft or two would be a good idea, probably better than going looking for the previous boat."

Before some of the members have a chance to start building their summer homes here, the group moves a little closer to the beach and spots Joe and Pete floating in their boat out on the water. Joe waves when he sees you coming and the small craft is eventually rowed back to within earshot again. Joe studies the jungle closely, as if he is looking for something. “Didja see em? Did they get any of ya?” When he notices that there is one less and 2 more members to the group, he pauses for a moment.

“Hey! What’s going on here? Who are they? And where’s the loud guy with the nice smellin hair?”

Oh thank heavens! The cleric can't hold back here excitement upon seeing the boat. She moves away from the tree she originally selected to climb and heads back towards Joe and the boat. Once close enough speaks to the boat captain. You were referring to Sir Crestbrook? Yes...he was turned to stone unfortunately. However, we might have a way of bringing him back, which, by the way, after a day of rest we'd like your services again to come back here...if you don't mind.

Tlachtga heads for the boat and helps Cu in. "We chased off some Jungle Kobolds, if that is what you are talking about."

“Ummm, what? What the hecks a cold bowl? No, I was talkin bout the TREES! They came fer us while we was nappin! Snuck up on us through the sand. Dang near got us too, if we wunta woke up.”

He peers into the jungle again as dogs, strangers, and unconscious bodies are swiftly loaded into his crowded dingy. “Ya sure ye didn’t see em? Ya musta had ta walk right past em! Course, we been out here on the water fer a while now,” he says as everyone piles into the boat.

Joe smiles wide again once everyone is loaded in his dingy and Lerrick mentions another trip in the morning. “You kidding? We’d be available at yer request, any time yer needin a ride, ma’am. Turnt ta stone ya say? Well, that sounds horrible! How does sumthin like that even happen?”

Pete begins rowing the overfilled boat away from the beach and towards the big island, trying hard not to whack or splash any of his very good paying customers with the oars. “Straight home then, friends?”

Actions?

Last chance for actions/dialog before getting back to town again. I will wait to see the outcome of the next trip before rewarding XP for this mission. Saracen will meet anyone who needs healing in the morning, but if there is anything you want to do during the aft/eve, let’s try to make that as quick as possible so we can get back to the action here.

Nice one! Very thorough! Mina won’t be doing any more adventuring for a while. She will be around in the morning for questioning though.

Alordan will talk to Mina in the morning - after he drops off his fruit to the town folk - and see if she has more to remember about anything that could be helpful back in the caves. Maybe a night of rest and calm will bring back something that could important.
