Urtesi briefly clutches the grave wound the orc gave him. Blood immediately flows between and over his fingers. How... can I lose to this... he mutters in elven. Noticing the unarmored human beside him bravely pressing on, he realizes that now is not the time to back down. In a desperate attempt, he tries to shove his shield in the orcs face and follow up with a sword blow.

shield punch (off hand): to hit [1d20-2] = 5-2 = 3, damage [1d3] = 2

long sword: to hit [1d20+1] = 20+1 = 21, damage [1d8] = 5

Elanriel

Elanriel gives the halfling a shrug. "We'll be back," she assures him. "Right now my friends are in trouble."

She heads down the corridor to the south, squeezing behind the group fighting at the east door to go and aid Urtesi and Weston.

ooc: I'm assuming Elanriel won't get an opportunity to attack this round but if Urtesi or Weston want to drop back behind her, she can move to the front for next round.

Combat has ended all is silent from all directions.

Room Descriptions:
Room 10:
This room has a comfortable bunk with a fine bearskin on it (Which looks like it is worth something), a table with a decanter that when checked appears to contain brandy, and two glasses. There is nothing else of value that you can see in the room.
Room 9:
This large room is clearly a barracks. There are nearly a dozen simple bunks and piles of straw, some spare orcish clothing and weapons, and a rather unpleasant looking row of chamber pots. There is also a small chest on a table standing by the southwest corner of the room.
Actions?

Urtesi, still holding the sword ready, takes a few cautious steps into the southern room (9) to confirm that it is really empty. He stops immediately though as the vile stench from the chamberpots hits his nostrils.

"This may be our chance to recover a bit. Please, if anyone is wounded, say so and I will see what I can do."

Talrand will set about collecting his variously miss thrown darts before making his way over to the chained up halfling, doing his best to not look at the slain spider on the floor.

"Hello sir, I'm glad to see you safe, my name is Talrand Bren were you taken prisoner during the raid on Stallonford?"

He begins inspecting the chains to see a way to set the unfortunate fella free.

Harribal Flatfeet the halfling glad to see Tarland "No they grabbed me out in the forest rabbiting. Names Harribal Flatfeet at your service Tarland Bren. Provided I can get this chain off me that is. I tried to tell the dwarf and other person with them that there is a key in the Lieutenant orc's pocket I think that is where he put it."

Egon will start by searching the orc lt, then move on to the spider room. If he finds a key he will toss it to Tarland so he can free Flatfeet. "Good to meet you Flatfeet. I am glad that spider didn't get you."

Urtesi sheathes his sword and stands patiently, as Weston works his healing magic. "My thanks. I will go and try to help the dwarf next."

He makes his way to the room where the halfling was chained and is greeted by the ugly, battered spider carcass. What in the hells...?

"Hold still for a moment. I will pray for healing." he says to Egon.

Urtesi holds his holy symbol and recites a prayer to Angharradh.

CLW: [1d8] = 3

Weston will help search the barracks room.

Harribal Flatfeet shrugs his shoulders "There could be other prisoners, hard for me to know I was jumped rabbiting and was knocked out. I wake up chained in here with just this knife and a spider acting like I'm it's next meal."
