"Eh?" asks the guard, "Oh. No. No thank ya. Captain would have me mopping the streets in the rain if'n he knew I was lit on duty." he smiles and closes the window.

Having no idea where the captains office actually is within the keep, Craxzus would have to go door to door hoping to find it, if the captain even has an office. He knows that they climbed a set of stairs from the waiting room to their cell and there were many doors on that floor as well as another set of stairs going up.

Throm "Eh I understand thank ya then. Any idea when we are gonna be released?"

"Sorry. Not honestly even sure why yer held, but held ya are, till Master Ryan or the captain says otherwise. he goes to close the window but something comes to his mind and he says "Criminals don't get fed so good as you, tho, nor ale ta boot. I reckon yer bein kept for questions or some such."

Throm shrugs "Kinda figured as much, though it was a bit unwillin ta say the least. Least they didna lie ta me bout the ale." setting the other food down on whatever intact table there is the dwarf sits down on any unbroken chair and drinks the ale and eats the food.

Thorgrim passes the time by stumping around the tiny cell muttering and mumbling to himself, stopping occasionally to draw a big gulp of ale from the small cask.

A little time goes by and you hear the dead bolt of your door click. The door opens and a guard comes in carrying your gear.
"Need to be quiet" he says looking around. "Damn it! Where's the third of you?"

Throm shrugs sheepishly "Dunno. Have any trouble with me gear? Took good care o me axe right?"

"You don't know where he went?" the guard asks sarcastically and drops your gear on the groumd. "This better not cause me grief." he says looking around the room again.
"Follow me please. And keep quiet."

Throm shrugs again "Dunno he farted an just poof gone, durned strange but eh what ya gonna do?"

had meetings all dang day yesterday...
"Sweet friggin mercy..." the guard complains. "Just come with me..."
He leads you down the hall and up some stairs to another hall lined with doors. He places a finger over his mouth signaling to keep quiet as you walk past one door. You ascend another stair that dead ends into a door. He taps on the door and whispers "Butterfly season is upon us."
The door opens and you see the captain and master Ryan talking.
The older man waves you into a bedroom with a desk in the center, where he takes a seat

"Excellent. You are..." he flips through a book, "Throm, Thorgrim, and Crax...wait, weren't there three of you besides Eirenaios?"
"Indeed there were. Where's the other elf? says the captain looking from the dwarves to their guard escort.
"I assure you, sir..." stammers the guard, "Their door was secured. He must have sorcelled his way out. I'll send others to look for him of..."
"That won't be necessary " says Master Ryan. "As long as he can be trusted not to warn Angela. Here's the situation good dwarves." says.the master. "Your warning earlier was much appreciated as it started events leading up to this meet. I was sadly under a spell of sorts for awhile now. A spell woven by that woman. Your friend Eirenaios freed me and we need to make preparation to end her charade before she is aware. Eirenaios believes her to be possessed by a demon and has gone to fetch a priest to aid in our efforts. I personally grow ever more agitated the longer we wait to spring our surprise but the captain assures me this is the right course. What say you?"

Throm the always straight to the point dwarf "Well ta be honest question goes straight ta tha point. Can we trust one another? Ifin so then I can tell yah more bout tha other elf. Seein as yer givin us back our gear I assume you trust us er is this another trap?" putting hands balled into fists on his waist and giving a very serious look showing he is dead serious no joking around this time and waits for a reply.

Thorgrim glowers at Master Ryan, "So what be this here plan o' yers? I don't need no plan. Just my trusty axe and her in my sights...I'll take care of it." He pats his axe a couple of times and then tosses it back and forth from one hand to the other.

The old man looks to Throm, "You can trust I have the towns best intentions in mind. If we are like minded then, yes. We have trust. I was not myself earlier, and it was the lady that tricked you into your capture. Not I."
The captain speaks up, "Your companion Eirenaios, believe the lady is possessed by demons. Should we not try to rescue her from this first? I'd not cut her down if she is not responsible for her actions. But I agree with Master Ryan. Time is short."

Throm ""Good ta know. The elf turned in ta a cloud of gas to escape our holding cell. To seek out our other friend. An yeah I got more n tha town in mind savin tha people too. I aint wanna be seeing what happend ta Evie happen ere."

"Very good." says Master Ryan. "And if I didn't say before, I am sorry for your friend. " He stands and moves to a cabinet, opens it, and removes a bottle with 6 small copper bowls. He pours a strong smelling drink. "All this waiting is rattling my nerves. Could use a sip for to remove the edge. Help yourself if you like." he up ends his bowl and shivers at its strength.

Throm "Bah ya gave me an Thorgrim a small cask o' ale we dun got tha edge off already." then looking a bit curiously at the bowl of drink "What is that drink o' yers there?" said while pointing at one of the curious bowls and it's contents. "Persnally I prefer ale, mead an whiskey. None o' that elfish stuff like wine and brandy." then getting back on track "What do ya propose captain? Persnally I think we need ta get tha rest o' our friends ere first. Then tackle tha plan o' attack."

"I am not sure what to think." says the captain. "I am of the mind to strike this demon down quickly....but if the Lady Angela is indeed possessed then saving her would be ideal. If it were up to ..."
A knock at the door and someone on the other side calls "Butterfly season is apon us."
"Yes yes. Come!" says master Ryan anxiously.
The door opens and a guard escorts Eirenaios and three men in priests garb into the room.
"No time for pleasantries." says the older priest carrying scrolls. "Do we know where the demon is at this moment?"

Eirenaios looks to the captain to answer the priest.

He quickly scans the room smiling and nodding to his companions but pauses when he can't find Caxzus, "Where did Craxzus go?"
