"Back hounds of hell!" Vorkath cries, swing Excommunicator at the hound which slipped before him. He flies up to be out of their range. He worries about the odds, in light of Strahd or his servants being nearby.

Free Attack: Iluq, dual +1 hammer attack, THAC0 16: to hit, [1d20] = 5+1, [1d20] = 15+1; damage [1d4] = 3+2 (+1 v. L), [1d4] = 3+2 (+1 v. L)
then noticed you only wanted one of the hammers so you can grab one from that roll or take this:
[1d20] = 10 ; damage [1d4] = 2 (+1 v. L)

Tibbius the Terrified
Back to the wall
While the big boys have their fun, Tibbius will examine the brazier to see if there is anything unusual about it. He will pull out his dagger however, just in case.

You narrowly seize initiative.
Iluq rushes with hammers in hands at the nearest dog. He hits the dog on Vorkath with both hammers, one on each side, ringing the hell beast's bell. Robert joins him, but the hound has enough command of his senses to dodge the druid's clumsy blow. It fares not so well against Vorkath, whose sword Excommunicator nicks it in the side. The hound, reeling but still alive, snaps feebly at the cleric.
The mighty and brave flying paladin climbs out of biting range, leaving gravity slaves Robert and Iluq to fend for themselves.
Agrippo and Tumbler face off against the other hound. Tumbler tries to squeeze in for an attack, but his poor positioning hinders his aim, and he misses badly. The warrior's spear, however, thusts deep into the hound's thick muscular torso. The slavering beast tries to bite back, but is held at bay for a moment by Agrippo's spear. Agrippo lifts the spear, on which the hound is still impaled, and hurls the hound across the room, dead!
Tibbius holds Randolph Cat tight and backs into the wall. He edges to the brazier and tries, as casually as he can muster, to examine it. He notices nothing unusual about the brazier in the heat of battle.
The two hounds on the perimeter of the battle again breathe noxious, smoking fire. The first steps forward and aims directly for the floating Vorkath (save made; -2 HP). The other moves into a position to shoot fire at Iluq and Robert (Iluq, Robert: -4 HP)
The hounds are injured, but tough.

Illuq, only slightly charred, goes in for another attack at the wounded Hell beast, swinging at the retreating creature. One swing only hitting the air beside it while his second attack strikes true.
Iluq, dual +1 hammer attack, THAC0 16: to hit, [1d20] = 6+1, [1d20] = 18+1; damage [1d4] = 1+2 (+1 v. L), [1d4] = 4+2 (+1 v. L)

Robert having nothing better to do keeps trying to act like a warrior.

The hell hounds get in the first attack. Two try to bite Iluq and Agrippo, but their snarls are worse than their bites. The third toasts the flying Vorkath again. (Vorkath: -4 HP)
Vorkath tries flying around the injured hound's flank. The hound simply turns around to follow him, but that creates all the opening Robert needs. His scimitar slices the demon dog in half.
The holy warrior swoops down and strikes with Excommunicator at the hound that breathed fire at him. His longsword cuts though the dark matted hide. Iluq bashes it with a hammer. The hound, near death but still fighting, staggers.
Agrippo again tries to make dog kebob with his spear. He injures but doesn't yet kill the hound.
Two hell hounds remain alive, one just barely.

Re: 4. The Spires of Ravenloft
Robert will try not to offend the mighty warrior Agrippo by helping with the hound on him.To add to any potential confusion I am attacking the one on the map shown by A and Tu.
Scimitar +1 to hit[1d20 +1] = 15+1 = 16 Damage[1d8+1] = 4+1 = 5

Agrippo growls back, snarling "havoc, let loose this old dog of war!", attacking the nearest hound twice:
melee 1) to hit 17 damage 8
melee 2) to hit 17 damage 8
melee 1) to hit 17 damage 8
melee 2) to hit 17 damage 8
