Luther
This has a cobbled- together look to it. Maybe the locals- or some pack of ogres- did it, hoping they could make some magic.
Let's move on.

"Do you remember those ogres we fought the first time we scouted this area? Do you think they could have something to do with this? They built it? They smashed it up?" The gnome chuckles all of a sudden.
"They probably didn't write the cloth though!"
He considers that and nods in thought.
Could have been... They were not exactly impressive even for ogres... but remember they were burning those herbs too, so that likely had a lot to do with it.
How far are we from the Ogre Camp?

Amun tags along as the others seem to be leaving.
"Ogres just stupid, probably."

The ogres were encountered fairly close to the stone symbol area, actually. I will be able to get you a new map once I return stateside next week.
Deciding to leave the oddity in the jungle alone, the group presses on further north through the small track of land between the river and the cliff wall.
After another hour goes by uneventfully, a strange noise starts to dominate the normal din of the jungle. A constant roaring crescendo of something swooshing or a loud rush of wind of some kind is coming through the thick jungle forest from directly ahead. The air is slightly cooler here, but the current breeze remains consistent.

Keg
Turns to face the rushing air and looks around, alert. I get the feeling we should look for cover... Let's fall back into the trees.

The Knife
The Knife gets ready to scuttle behind a tree. "I don't mind hiding," he says. "But do we have to go too far? That breeze feels nice".

Luther
Luther takes a knee under a large tree and readies his bow. He watches overhead, hoping to catch a glimpse of whatever it is.

Keg mirrors Luther's motions, retreating to the treeline and readying his bow to see what is coming.

The party scatters for cover before they die while Amun stands her ground. When the noise doesn't change, and nothing swoops in to attack them, they look around at each other in confusion.
Still unable to see through the thick underbrush, they know something must be nearby to make this much ruckus.
Waiting a bit longer before they come out of their hiding spots, the noise starts to resemble the sound of rushing or falling water. Lots and lots of water.

"It sounds like it is. Let's see." The warrior cleric lowers his sword, also trying to hide its gleam among the underbrush. "Who's coming with me?"

The Knife
"Ah! A waterfall?" says The Knife. "I bet it's a sign of something. Like a Lost City of Gold or something" He joins the others as they head towards the cascade.

Keg
I remember the adventurers that went as far north as the native settlement mentioned there being a big waterfall there that is the source of the river... at least from the cliffs... Are we really that far north? You don't think there is a flash flood coming do you? If there is, we and the town are in big trouble.
