The Aftermath
Re: The Aftermath
Apollonius Triton
The Atlantean ducks from cover and bolts toward the squirming bundle and sets about freeing the captive. If necessary, he'll use a dagger to gingerly cut it free while hoping to avoid nicking the occupant.

Re: The Aftermath
Euripides Nereos
Dumping the rest of the water onto the ground, Euripides grimaces at the taste, unsure whether the well water itself or the rusty mug is responsible. Either way, he's not drinking from either again.
Drawing a blade, he advances upon the man nearest him in an attempt to stab him in the...uh, some important soft squishy thingy to the side of the spine.

Re: The Aftermath
The Dark Spot
Late Morning, Cloudy, Cool
Valkrina is unable to right herself after being shoved across the clearing. The closest of the two men continues his advance, leaping onto her and trying to pin her to the ground by sheer force while her friends rush to her aid.
Drest and Hakon shoot their missiles across the clearing, hitting the man trying to accost their bard in the back with one arrow.
Euripides dumps out the water from his mug, feeling a little strange for a moment and temporarily forgetting why he is even here. Once he comes to his senses again, he leaps from his hiding place and stabs the shirtless brute in the back, finding the organ he was targeting and essentially killing the already wounded man instantly. (Class 1 or 2 melee weapons only for a backstab, so a broadsword qualifies. I rolled your 2nd die of damage for you and got a 7.)
Xenos shouts a command at the other man, smirking when he falls to the ground without even turning around. He doesn't appear to be dead, but he has clearly stopped moving for the time being.
Apollonius runs over to the bundle on the ground and starts cutting it open, finding a groggy looking man with black hair and a pointy beard dressed in nothing but his underclothes.
Actions!
positions: Apollonius AC:8 3/5 2/2
Valkrina AC:6 8/8 1/1
Drest AC:7 5/7
Euripides AC:5 7/7 2/2
Xenos AC:5 7/9 0/2 Command:6
Hakon AC:4 8/9 1/1

Valkrina
Dusts herself down and gets rid of the leaf coverings.
The surviving assailant. "We should sack him up and put him in the well." she suggests.

Re: The Aftermath
Akhilleus
Akhilleus covers his eyes with his hands when the sunlight hits him. He looks half asleep and grimaces when he starts moving and raising to his feet, needing a few seconds before he's completely erect and stumbling as he does so. Finally he leans on a tree while he gets used to the light and starts looking at his rescuers, each one in turn, with half closed eyes.
"Who are you, people." He says with a deep yet raspy voice.

"Shipwrecked? Where the hells are we?" The warrior rubs his face for a second. "I... I don't even know how I got here. I know I was a prisoner... But not the only one. There were other warriors. Our captors, they were all warriors too.
Freya's arse, that's all I can remember."

Euripides Nereos
Just...don't drink from the well. Something not right with it, but I can't remember what it was.
Looking at the bandit who doesn't seem quite dead, he continues. What about this one? Prisoner? Or do ya want us to- Euripides mimics a throat slash.

The former prisoner rubs his chin for a second. "Don't drink from the we- That's it. Im remembering something else. They gave me some sort of cat piss that looked like watered wine. I was so thirsty that I had to drink it. Awful stuff.
That's probably what's making me have problems remembering.
Bastards."

"We have fresh water if you need it. But first, let us bind this one"
Xenos looks for something to bind and gag the unconscious man.

Ties up the prisoner, taunting him a little.
"What's up? Cat got your tongue? Don't worry we can pull it out if you don't talk?
Gets boys, do we carve this rooster up now or later? He's a fat one, sure Onja won't mind if we nibble on his legs. He won't need legs were he's going?"

Re: The Aftermath
The Newcomer
Late Morning, Cloudy, Cool
Without any formal introductions, the stranger crawls from his sack and rubs his head and sore muscles. After some small talk, the forgetful unknown man warns the others that he was drugged with some kind of dark, foul smelling liquid. Seeing the second bundle on the pole, Akhilleus digs inside to find his normal meager possessions. He slowly starts to remember a few other things, but his arrival here on this island remains a mystery. Euripides suggests he not drink from the well, but he cant remember why, asking what to do about the unconscious man on the ground.
Drest searches the dead and immobile hunters, finding nothing of value on them other than their weapons and leather kilts. 6 javelins in a quiver, 2 short swords, and two dagger sized hunting knives appear to be their only possessions. They carry nothing of any monetary value whatsoever and wear no jewelry.
Val removes her floral headdress and begins tying up the still breathing man on the ground, taunting him verbally. By his limited reaction, she can tell the man is still under the effect of Xenos' spell. Apollonius keeps a watch over the action, thankfully not hearing anything else approaching the clearing.....yet.
