Re: Group 2: OOC I
For the marching order, do we go with the sneaky order with Dr. Jones first, Targ slotted in behind her, or the non-sneaky order with the clanky (but heavily armored) and light-requiring cleric in front? I guess the real question is, do we believe the tunnel has remained hidden or do we send the sneakier members ahead in the dark to make sure the bad guys haven't infiltrated it. Of course, we can send the rogues ahead regardless.

Re: Group 2: OOC I
I think we would want a sneaky but darkvision character to lead maybe Tarq in the 2nd or 3rd in line position. Then the rest of the marching order keep as is or maybe put a torch bearer in the back so it doesn't throw off any sneak people trying to remain hidden? Maybe keep all the sneakier folk in the lead positions?

Re: Group 2: OOC I
I’m down with the +7 stealth and 60 shades of grey dark vision (ft that is) to try and sneak ahead.

Yep, I still see your rolls in Group 1. Go ahead and update the campaign ID and everything should port over.GreyWolfVT wrote:Dave I just realized my roller character for this is on the wrong campaign # what is the number for group 2? I'm having trouble locating it.

I'm ready to move you guys, I just need the settled upon marching order.Scott308 wrote:For the marching order, do we go with the sneaky order with Dr. Jones first, Targ slotted in behind her, or the non-sneaky order with the clanky (but heavily armored) and light-requiring cleric in front?.
Is Catarina definitely going first?
Where is Targ?
It can always be changed later, but I'll need an official 1-6 order before pushing forward.
Thanks!

Re: Group 2: OOC I
Let's go with:
Catarina
Targ
Kañ-Demir
Grimbul
Urth
Dureau
This puts our two stealthiest out front scouting, and Kañ-Demir shouldn't be too bad leading the rest of us. Urth can assist Dureau who will put the pebble in his pocket to keep it nice and dark, leaving Grimbul to do his best as both he and Dureau have armor that imposes disadvantage on our stealth.

Re: Group 2: OOC I
Dark vision just makes you see in dim light as if it was bright and dark as if it were dim. So scouting/perception will be at disadvantage in the dark FYI. But I’m okay with going with this.

Re: Group 2: OOC I
Yes, but the warlock is not nearly as sneaky as Cat and Targ, and the darkness will affect others as well, if we are not the only things down here. And that only applies to things affected by sight. Perception checks based on hearing or smell would not be at disadvantage.

Re: Group 2: OOC I
While Grimbul did not specialize in stealth, or even pick it as a proficiency he does still have other ranger abilities that might have been more useful closer to the lead but the minor issue of his amor puts him in the back so be it he also has darkvision but guess that does help look behind to ensure nobody's sneaking up from behind on us too.
