Spider Battle: Round 3
Initiative PCs [1d10] = 9 NPCs [1d10] = 6 Foes go first this round!

NPCs/Monsters Giant Hunting Spider: AC8; THAC018 Orc LT: AC6; THAC018; Orc: AC8; THAC019
Orc Lieutenant: backs away from the halfling to get out of reach of the knife. Instead he takes out a dagger and hurls it at Elanriel hitting for 2 dmg!
Giant Hunting Spider: attacks Egon hitting for another 1 dmg! Orc in Southern Door: attacks Urtesi but misses. ----------------------------------------
PCs/Adventurers
Egon: swings his axe at Giant Spider hitting for 6 dmg!
Xlore: takes out a dagger and hurls it at the Orc in the southern door but misses the dagger sticks into the doorjamb.
Delsenora: takes up bow and fires 2 arrows at the Orc in the southern door hitting twice for 5 dmg!
Talrand: throws another dart aimed at the Orc Lt. but misses.
Weston: moves to the south to help Urtesi with the Orc but misses with his staff.
Urtesi: swings at the Orc in the south door and hits for 2 dmg! killing it!
Elanriel: swings at the Giant Spider but fails to connect this time.

Halfling: unable to do much again attempts to break free of the chain, again to no avail.

However another orc steps over his dead friend in the southern door and swings at Weston however it misses. ----------------------------------------
Summary: Orc in the southern door is dead. Spider and Orc LT in northern room alive. Halfling prisoner alive. Orc in Eastern door dead & door is shut. A new orc is now in the southern door.

Delsenora

Keeping her Bow, Del aims for the Orc Lieutenant!

Short Bow 1st shot [1d20] = 12 Damage [1d6] = 3

Short Bow 2nd Shot [1d20] = 6 Damage [1d6] = 5

Egon

Egon attacks the spider once again.

Battle Axe [1d20+1] = 13+1 = 14 to hit [1d8+3] = 2+3 = 5 damage

Weston strikes at the orc in the southern door

Staff: to-hit [1d20] = 9, dmg [1d6] = 6

Urtesi NPC'd will also swing at the new foe in the south door.
Long Sword (20) [1d20] = 16 to hit, [1d8] = 1/[1d12] = 1 damage

Elanriel

Elanriel determinedly keeps swinging at the spider.

Long Sword 1w fighting: [1d20+2] = 2+2 = 4 to hit, damage: [1d8+2] = 3+2 = 5

Long Sword 1w fighting: [1d20+2] = 13+2 = 15 to hit, damage: [1d8+2] = 6+2 = 8

ooc: Should be a good hit with the second swing if Egon hasn't already killed it.

Talrand will try to hit the Orc Lt. Once again with another on of his darts!

Initiative PCs [1d10] = 8 NPCs [1d10] = 5 The Spider and Orcs go first!

NPCs/Monsters Giant Hunting Spider: AC8; THAC018 Orc LT: AC6; THAC018; Orc: AC8; THAC019
Orc Lieutenant: having nowhere to go with the spider blocking the doorway tries to get out of ranged weapons and hides out of the way.
Giant Hunting Spider: attacks Egon missing this time. Orc in Southern Door: attacks Urtesi but hits for 12 dmg! Orc in East Door: swings at Xlore but misses. ----------------------------------------
PCs/Adventurers
Egon: swings his axe at Giant Spider hitting for 5 dmg!
Xlore: sees the orc in the south door taken care of and tries to help with the Orc Lt. but can't reach him with his sword.
Delsenora: fires 2 arrows at the Orc Lt. as he hides but misses with both arrows.
Talrand: throws another dart aimed at the Orc Lt. as he moves to hide but misses and now the target has moved out of sight.
Weston: swings his staff at the new Orc in the south door but misses.
Urtesi: swings at the Orc in the south door and hits for 1 dmg!
Elanriel: swings at the Giant Spider but fails to connect on the first swing but hits for 8 dmg! with the second swing and kills it!

Halfling: begins cheering on the young adventurers "You've almost got them! Someone help free me and I'll aid you!"

Summary: Orc LT is not reachable for melee yet he is now out of sight. The giant spider is dead and the orc still remains in the south door. The halfling is still chained up to the floor ring. The east door by Xlore opens again and another orc stands there.

Talrand

Talrand will turn toward the east door and attack the orc next to Xlore.

Dart Attack [1d20] = 7

Delsenora

Turning her attention now to the Orc LT Del moves closer to his position and taking careful aim, fires of two arrows at him.

Short Bow 1st attack [1d20] = 6 Damage [1d6] = 6

Short Bow 2nd shot [1d20] = 1 Damage [1d6] = 2

Wow and double wow...... roller is not on my side this evening to say the least hahahhahahha.

Egon

Egon follows the lt orc and attacks him with his ax.

Battle Axe [1d20+2] = 14+2 = 16 to hit [1d8+3] = 7+3 = 10 damage

Xlore attacks the Orcat the east door.

Orc Lieutenant: Strikes out at Elanriel coming out of his hiding spot hitting for 6 dmg! Orc in Southern Door: attacks Weston and hits for 1 dmg! Orc in East Door: swings at Xlore hitting for 3 dmg! ----------------------------------------

Egon: swings his axe at the Orc Lt. hitting for 10 dmg! killing it!
Xlore: sees the orc in the south door taken care of and tries to help with the Orc Lt. but can't reach him with his sword.
Delsenora: moves into a position to fire arrows at the Orc Lt. but sees Egon drop him and changes to fire 2 arrows at the Orc in the east door but misses. The second shot Delsenora breaks her bow string.
Talrand: turns to attack the Orc in the east door but misses.
Weston: swings his staff the Orc in the south door but misses.
Urtesi: swings at the Orc missing.
Elanriel: swings at the Orc Lt. but sees that Egon has already killed him. sorry Bruce it was a great attack but the dwarf with the axe cleaved the target on you.

Halfling: hops up and down happy that you have killed his tormentors "Yes! excellent work. Now might you free me from this chain? I think the Orc Lieutenant had a key."

Delsenora

Cursing inwardly, Del doesn't bother to toss away her Bow. INstead she grips it like a staff and moves over to the East Door.

If she can, she will use the bow like a staff on that Orc

Broken BOw/Staff attempt [1d20] = 3 Damage applicable up to DM

Most probably a miss!

Egon

"Hold on little one we will get to you soon enough, still orc's to kill."

Egon moves to help the others.

Once Egon is near the crowd at the east door. "If anyone needs to back out do so and I will move in."
I assume he isn't going to get an attackl this round but if he will let me know and I will edit my post.

Weston, smarting from his scratch, retaliates with his staff at the orc in the southern door:
