Summary Post - Close Calls for Sneaky Sneaky, Thank You Sucky Rolls!

The larger darkspawn stays near the well, stooping down to sniff at the well and obviously picking up the stench of the left over darkspawn blood the group had washed off. He begins heading towards the small shed, directly towards the now hiding group...

Hurlock Perception(Smelling): [1d6] = 4, [1d6] = 2, [1d6+4] = 1+4 = 5=11

He stops halfway though and from the small view that Lucas still has while hiding out of sight behind the shed it looks as if the darkspawn has lost the trail. He stays there for a moment more, trying to find it again but cannot and in a frustrated gesture growls, the sound coming out twisted and almost warbled from it's mutated throat. it stalks back towards the house and enters it, the sounds of it's movement quickly fading as it goes deeper into the house...

Luckily for everyone the thing didn't roll well enough to spot your now washed and clean selves!

Speaking as quietly as he can Lucas says"two more of that one creature we just fought and another taller one with two axes and a lot of evil feeling.

Lucas will slide back even more, trying to put as much distance between himself and the creatures as possible while still remaining behind the shed.

Estienne rubs his leg where the creature had struck him, it was still throbbing, and starts to whisper "One of those smaller things was trouble enough, we probably shouldn't press our luck maybe if we wait they'll move on or at least the two will head inside."

Hamish "We need to get to a better hidin spot."

Aedilberct takes a quick peek around the corner of the shed and says, "Ok then. Lets move toward that smaller building to the NE (Building 4). Hamish, you take the lead with Lucas, Estienne, you are with me at the rear. stay low and quiet everyone. I will slow and provide cover fire if those things follow."

Aedilberct waves everyone on and maintains a periphery visual as he moves.

"Great plan" Lucas hisses as he prepares to move out, carefully sliding his dagger back into its sheath.

Summary Post - A planned Retreat, straight into a nice treat!

The group carefully makes their way towards the last building along the road that leads towards the town of Vintiver, using the small shed as a visual shield from the twisted beings currently residing in the large farm house. Because of the shed and careful movement the group was able to get to their destination without any issue, the mage, Aedilberct, keeping his sights on the surrounding area and most importantly on the corner section of the farm house; Checking and not finding any dangers headed their way.

Reaching their destination the group see that the building is a smaller house, with one door and two small shuttered windows facing the road in front of it. the house itself is made of thick wood, darkened with age and weather. The windows are closed shut but the door is curiously slightly ajar a few inches, a soft flickering light emanating from within and a small, thin, column of smoke lazily drifts up through the chimney located on the top of the house.

Congrats! You ran away from a mini-boss! You may yet still live another day!
Surrounding environment gave you enough of an advantage that as long as you weren't running around yelling a sneaky sneak check wasn't needed.

Actions! And as a courteous GM, please don't forget about the unconscious Eshara and Athras in Building 3... Wouldn't want them to... disappear...

You are currently location just on the road, in front of building 4, as a reminder while for now the area seems safe you are out in the open.

Aedilberct eyes the flickering light and wispy smoke escaping the chimney of the small house and whispers to Lucas, "Lucas, check out the door while we stand guard. Be careful, we do not know what lies in wait on the other side of that door."

Hamish stands guard "Aye. I'll guard out here you go in."

Lucas edges towards the door, look it over for a moment before giving a shaky thumbs up to to the others, "You got it, I'll check it out, make sure it isn't trapped or something." He then gives the door a good look over, checking the edges as well as the tops and bottoms for any springs or strings that act as a trap trigger...

DM Roll Lucas Trap: [3d6+2] = 14+2 = 16

His hands move with a keen and efficient dexterity, it seems that while combat is not his best skill spotting and possibly disarming traps may be. He stands back up and looks to the others, a small smile on the young, bald, boys face, "Looks like nothing trapped the door, I checked extra just to make sure... So, should I open it?" He looks to the rest of the group, asking if someone more melee inclined would like to be the first one to open the door.

Mainly just me asking if you all want me to NPC Lucas going in first or if Hamish would like to do the honors.

Aedilberct nods to Lucas, "Yes, but be careful." Aedilberct keeps an eye in the direction of the farmhouse where the three Darkspawn are.

Summary Post - NPC Actions and The House of The Electric Boogaloo!

Lucas looks to the mage and dwarven warrior, giving them a brief thumbs up with a shaky smile as he inches the slightly ajar door more open. Taking a brief moment to look over the surroundings Lucas opens the door fully, let the others now view the inside of the small house.

The interior is a stark contrast to the outside's abandoned feel, a warm but low fire is quietly crackling in the fireplace situated on the wall to their left, a small iron gate stuck in front of it for safety. The middle of the area seems to be a cozy sitting area, with a couch and 4 comfortable looking chairs situated so that they are all facing each other to make conversation easier. Along the right hand side of the small house is a cooking and dining area, the small and quaint kitchen sporting some fresh looking fruits and vegetables with a small cutting knife laying beside them and and adjacent dining area sports a lavish looking wooden table that seats 6 people well, an extravagant looking cloth lays other the table and table wear is already present. Towards the back of the house the wall cuts in to make a room with a closed door and then once against cuts back to form a hallway that leads further into the smaller house, another door present down near the end.

The scent that lingers inside the house wafts towards the group, eliciting emotions of safety and warmth, the pains of the days travels and tribulations seemingly washing away until only a sense of satisfaction and subdued elation remain.

Lucas cautiously walks into the house, looking around with a bright smile playing along his face. He breathes a heavy sigh, releasing tension that not even he knew still clung to him as he looked back towards the group, "Guys! This place is... just great! Can we stay here?? Just for a bit?" He attempts to give the best imitation he can of puppy dog eyes to further sell the idea of staying in the house.

Actions! You've found a suspiciously safe place!

Aedilberct shushes Lucas and quickly glances through the door before ushering the rest of the party inside and closing the door. "This is very strange. This scene does not at all match what we have seen thus far. Have we just missed someone, are they hiding within somewhere, or have we stumbled upon some kind of trap? Keep a wary eye gentlemen. Lucas, you keep watch at the front door. I suggest the rest of us make a careful search of this place." Aedilberct doesn't wait to see if any others agree with his plan, he simply moves about the room and adjacent areas with extreme caution and a careful eye and his wand at the ready.

Hamish "Eh sure but it's bound ta be too good ta be true." or I'm a bearded gnome the dwarf casually and cautiously enters the "safe" house.

Summary Post - Cautious Adventurers and Suspicious House... Stuff!

As the other two cautiously walk into the house Aedilberct is quick to shush the young lad Lucas as he increasingly became more obnoxious, quickly forgetting about any kind of trouble they had just ran from. The wise mage looks to his two companions, "This is very strange. This scene does not at all match what we have seen thus far. Have we just missed someone, are they hiding within somewhere, or have we stumbled upon some kind of trap? Keep a wary eye gentlemen. Lucas, you keep watch at the front door. I suggest the rest of us make a careful search of this place." The dwarf Hamish nodding as he casually walks around, commenting as he walks, "Eh sure but it's bound ta be too good ta be true." The dwarf keeps his eyes open for anything that may jump out at them.

Lucas gives Aedilberct a quick salute and then walks over to the entrance, latching the closed door locked and then peeking out of the window to watch for anything approaching from the front. Meanwhile Aedilberct goes around the main areas and looks around... Finding nothing out of the ordinary, everything is clean and in good order and all items are regular household items that can be found anywhere. For whatever reason the house is the picture perfect definition of ordinary, except for the constant permeating sense of warmth and relaxation weaving it's way into the adventurers minds. A voice in the back of their minds whispers out, telling them to relax, that the dangers are passed and now they have earned rest...

Oh my gosh! Everyone! Make a Willpower Roll versus house juju!!!

Completing his cursory inspection and finding very little to ease his mind, Aedilberct rubs a brow and looks to the Dwarf, "Something seems off here guys. It feels...Something isn't right." Aedilberct lights a candle and heads toward the rear of the house to check for a secondary exit and search the rest of the house. He will inspect any rooms he comes across, carefully, opening doors cautiously with his wand at the ready. "Can you assist me Hamish?"
